Small win today šŸ™Œ
One of my clients actually increased my hours from 10/week to 20/week. Been working with them for 2 months doing inbox + calendar management. I didn’t even ask… they just said they trust me more now and want me handling more stuff. Just sharing this because consistency really does pay off. I used to think clients always try to pay less lol.

Great sign. When they expand your role like that, it’s usually the perfect time to review your pricing too.

Strong results, but I’d say the real question is sustainability. Are these long-term repeatable numbers or did one or two videos drive most of that spike?
Quick tip for anyone using AI for client work:
Stop sending raw AI outputs. Seriously. What I do now: 1. Generate with AI 2. Rewrite 20–30% manually 3. Add client-specific tone (this part matters a lot) 4. Double-check for fluff Clients don’t pay for AI — they pay for judgment. If your work still ā€œsounds like ChatGPT,ā€ that’s where you’ll struggle to retain clients.
I feel a bit stuck tbh šŸ˜…
I started learning VA skills like 3 weeks ago and I’m trying to practice using ChatGPT for content writing… but whenever I actually sit to write something for a ā€œfake client,ā€ my mind just goes blank. Do you guys practice with real projects somehow? Or just random prompts? I don’t know if I’m doing this right.

Use existing businesses as your practice ground. Rewrite their content with a clear goal conversions, engagement, etc. That’s closer to real work
Curious… how are you guys pricing AI-related tasks now?
Like if a task takes me 30 mins with AI but used to take 2 hours manually… do you still charge hourly? I feel like I’m undercharging but also don’t wanna scare clients off with higher rates.

This is exactly where I’m stuck too šŸ˜… Hourly feels unfair to me now with AI speeding things up, but switching to value-based pricing feels scary when clients are used to hourly. Curious how others are handling that transition.
