Hello, CFPB finally closed the complaint... Unfortunately EQUIFAX verified the items were mine... anyone know what next steps are? (I even included proof in my complaint that Experian deleted it still didn't work)

Hey Guys, and fellow Skool Students. I reported that equifax didn't delete my collection like Experian did to the CFPB and I got a physical letter from Equifax requesting 2 forms of identification today. No where does it say that on the CFPB or Equifax website, however upon looking into it equifax is saying this complaint is taken care of (days ago) but results pdf is not visible and on the CFPB website it says still working... Is it done? I've gotten no notification... Any advice??

I recently disputed the old addresses on my TransUnion and Equifax accounts. But they removed my old and current addresses and listed addresses over 15yrs old. None of the accounts I am disputing are connected to those addresses. Should I leave it alone until I finish my disputing?

I have my book and just starting…I followed instructions and so far so good! I’m 30 days in and have a journey ahead but I’m optimistic. Thanks Credit Team! I attached my progress.

Followed y’all’s advice and managed to get my collection knocked off just using the dispute online method FIRST TRY. Time to use this to get it off the other credit bureaus🫡
