can anybody tell me why the stereo field of this reference track looks like this. it looks like there is a ceiling from each side. this is from a song Dear Future Husband by Meghan Trainor.

My mix sounds good and clean when it’s dry, but the moment I add reverb it turns dull and messy. I’m already using sends, EQ’ing the reverb, and even trying different types (room + plate/hall), but it still kills the clarity. What am I messing up here? Can someone please help me?

What's your favorite EQ plugin, and why?

Hey im working on a track, and it has sounded great from the get-go (demo). But when looking at Span, the deep techno kick is way louder than all the rest of the song. When I balance the bass bus at the same peak volume of where the kick peaks, it does not sound good. Is it normal for tracks with a lot of low bass and deep kick to look this way? I can share my Ableton project or WAV. if anyone likes to take a look and listen.
