Lemon squares and making plans
Hey everyone, I'm Eileen... an ever-evolving being, a mom to three so-funny-they-make-me-cry kids, an amazing wife - you can ask him, and the creator of the Identity Shift (which one client said was more effective than 5 years of therapy). I'm here because I love AI for so many reasons and use it in my business quite a bit - although I don't outsource my creativity to it... anymore. Instead I'm leaning into my own magic and genius and partnering up with AI helps with the stuff I know I can trust to outsource to it, like new lemon square recipes and reverse engineering annual plans. Both super yum and highly recommend. Thanks for being an amazing resource. Excited to be in this group and to be with all of you.

@Vicki Elliott Ohhh, which small town? I'm in eastern Ontario, in SD&G. And YAY YOU!!!! Celebrating with you so hard because walking away from someone elses thing to build your own is a huge milestone move! Thrilled for you! What's something you need to growing your community? I'm not a community builder, nor is that my business, just asking as a genuine question - how can I help?
Hi, I could really use a bit of help😟
I’m strong in ideas, structure, and systems. I can build, refine, and optimize for a long time. But there’s one place where I repeatedly feel resistance: the transition from “it’s ready” to “now it has to go out into the world.” That’s where I seem to get stuck. And it doesn’t help that I don’t have an audience — and honestly, I don’t enjoy social media. So if you’ve felt the same way and still managed to move forward: what did you do? I’m genuinely curious about those of you who’ve taken the step: 👉 What actually helped you do it? 👉 Was it support, structure, feedback — or something else entirely?

Oh Charlotte… I sooo see you. I know this may not be the question you're asking but when I read your post, it brought me back to when I had my course and the fear conversations I had with myself because I didn't like social media either, and I had no list. I remember right before I launched it, I was in this space of "but I don't have anyone who would see this!" energy. I felt defeated even before I started. I had worked really hard on putting this all together and it was like it was going to die in the google docs. After talking with my coach, for like the sixth time about this, here's what she finally said... "You're making this about you. Your fear of being seen, your fear of putting yourself out there..." it was the reason why I couldn't put it out there, and the reason for everything else of why I had never built that list, or posted the things on social. This wasn't said in a "you should be ashamed of what you haven't done," way. It was a "look at what your illusions are costing you" conversation. Because I was afraid of being seen, I didn't post. Because I was afraid of being vulnerable, I wouldn't use my voice. Instead I sat in panic mode after being in the busy-ness of course creation and expecting people to show up because I had something great. The course creation part was challenging because I started it and now I had finished it. The real transformation was putting my magic out there for other people to see. To put it out there in the spirit of service and generosity. I realized that holding onto it made it about me. Letting it go, however that looked, was making it about helping them. So I wrote the posts. I made the opt-in. I had conversations. I did the networking events. I asked for the introductions. That was the real shift. What would that look like for you? To write the posts... to hit send... to let it be messy and imperfect and magical-you? Find support, support that aligns with who you are and honours your vision. For me, that made all the difference because for my first launch I had 9 people... it wasn't the biggest most successful launch ever, but I tell you, it taught me more than holding myself small ever did.
