Functions in Python
I finished the Functions section in Kaggle just now. I'm going slow 'cause my brain is slow. I understand the concept and usage of functions in Python, writing them and trying to implement the mathematical is a bit daunting. I ain't giving up, though. I was never really very good at word problems in math classes in high school. Combining words and numbers in paragraph form messed with my lysdexia.😉
Come on Ramon! keep on the track! now try by yourself a code stuff with topics of your daily tasks and hobbies:, average length movies or fuel consumption, personal waste, with strings and lists you can do a log of loads and so on... always keep simple your user cases.
@Ramon Pickett That's the idea, life easier when you code for your own. The Kaggle learning code is great to catch the concepts but most of the exercises are to fill in the gaps. but you must ENGAGE WITH A BLANK PAGE. Even copying(writing , not copy and paste) a Kaggle exercise problem something will sometimes be wrong due to a typo. And you learn to identify messages error to source problem and debug easy & fast your code. It is a fundamental to bigger codes.

Welcome! A great place to arrive!, take a look at the posts in general channel there really amazing topics!
@Ramon Pickett Practice Ramon, don't fall on the temptation of going fast and watch many videos on a row without applying concepts on your computer.
Supply Chain dataset
I want to get my hands dirty working on datasets. I would like to start on an underlying field where I confortable. I'm looking up a data set based on Supply Chain focus on topics like routes, procurement, sales, planning or sigma six or lena manufacturing. Any recommendation on a Kaggle's dataset or other available dataset? PD: if anyone is interested on applying Data Science and AI to Supply Chain we may open other post to share insights!
Thank you a lot, it is what I was looking up
🚀 Unveiling the Future with NVIDIA: A Glimpse into Jensen Huang's Visionary Keynote at GTC San José
Yesterday, I had the privilege of diving into the visionary world of Jensen Huang, NVIDIA's CEO, as he took the stage at GTC in San José. His keynote was not just a showcase of technological prowess but a testament to the transformative potential of AI and computing across industries. From the launch of the next-generation GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, marked as a "quantum leap" in graphics and simulation, to the full production of the H100 GPU, revolutionizing large language model processing - the breadth of innovation was staggering. NVIDIA is shaping a future where AI and computing not only redefine industry norms but also spearhead sustainability efforts. The introduction of technologies such as the H100 Tensor Core GPU, designed to dramatically reduce large language model processing costs, exemplifies this commitment. Moreover, NVIDIA's push towards democratizing AI through platforms like DGX Cloud and NVIDIA AI Foundations is set to bring unprecedented access and capabilities to companies worldwide, fueling innovation across domains. As the founder of Rock Your Ideas, I am immensely inspired by NVIDIA's initiatives. It underscores belief in the power of technology as a catalyst for positive change. Rock Your Ideas is keenly focused on how these advancements can be leveraged to foster inclusivity, address global challenges, and drive societal progress. Let's embrace these innovations and collaborate towards building a more sustainable, inclusive, and empowered future. Let‘s get inspired. #NVIDIA #GTC #AI #Innovation #Sustainability #Technology #RockYourIdeas For a deeper dive into the highlights from Jensen Huang's keynote at GTC San José, visit the following NVIDIA Blog posts: https://lnkd.in/eyHKaEaC https://lnkd.in/e2JdQk9g #NVIDIA #GTC #AI #Innovation #Technology #Keynote #SocietalChange #RockYourIdeas
🚀 Unveiling the Future with NVIDIA: A Glimpse into Jensen Huang's Visionary Keynote at GTC San José
You are really a fortunate to be there! It 's in my watch list to see it quietly once hype has evaporated. The fruits of a bet more than 10 years ago with the stacked memory and the first generation of NVLink allowing unified access memory for The Pascal architecture. Also, I really interested beyond hardware on services offers like Nemo.
Chat GPT4 seems to be getting worse
I have been using chat gpt4 since around its launch and was there as new features got added. Recently when asking it to extract data from the website it often times refuses stating this in its first line. "I can't directly visit web pages or view their current content in real time" I was using it to learn how to optimize my website for SEO purposes. Yesterday I tried to generate stock photos which I have also previously done and while before it used to give me a set of 4 each generation which is now down to 1 it also gives off this when asking for more realistic photos. "For more realistic office photos, especially for professional use on a business website, I recommend exploring stock photo websites such as Unsplash, Shutterstock, or iStock." Has anyone else noticed this?
@Eric-Lee Osorio Interesting question, in my opinion till AI have the autonomy and inniciative of create software by itself without human on the loop. Human-coders will be necessary and required, skills like programming languages changes. Coding on machine language many years ago was the way, now the languages are some levels above. From my handle point of view prompt engineering is like a new software language that has jumped some steps the natural evolution (including the pseudocode).
@Marcio Pacheco It was exactly what I feeled. Instead see the AI like a buddie... I became on his boss pushing a lazy but high potencial member of my team jajaja
