At the beginning of December we had $0 MRR. But we had a massive goal. On the last day of the Skool Games we woke up with 15k MRR… We were #15 on the leaderboard. And I had to find a way to generate $3,000 in the final hours. Well after 3 weeks of 6+ hours of calls a day, we buckled up for what would be the craziest day of our business career 😳 I started sending looms to everyone in our 700 person free community. (which btw had 17 members just 3 weeks ago) And I booked 6 sales calls a day for the final week… (I think I almost lost my voice) Patrice, my copywriter, went live for 4 hours to bring together the community. And in the end we did $10,000 in the last 8 hours of the games 📈 How did I start from $0 three weeks ago though? Well @Patrice Moore and @Shane Swick put together a cold traffic to webinar campaign. Then we doubled down on organic content while growing the free community by over 600 members in 21 days. We enlisted some incredible JV’s and went NUTS with webinars. I did this all while raising my 2 year old as a single mom and working a 9-5. It’s pretty impossible to do that alone, and I am also eternally indebted to my epic deal team, Joyce and Kisha who showed up in so many ways behind the scenes. And family and friends who went out of their way for me, and last but not least new Skool friends who all supported me in a variety of ways This platform is life changing. Don’t take for granted the connections, friendships and partnerships you can build here and in such small amount of time. But it wasn’t all about the games… Meeting Alex Hormozi, getting on that leaderboard… I wanted to change history. As a woman, and a woman of color, there’s not many of us who make it on the leaderboard. So this win is more than just a trip to Vegas. It’s the launchpad for everyone in this community who’s wondering if they’ve got what it takes. If I went from no community to almost 700 people, from $0 MRR to $24k…trust me…

You know the funny thing about copy? (exciting update at the end) The more you write it, the more you love it 🥰 I was talking to a friend of mine in London a couple weeks ago. She's a copywriter with a large YouTube audience. And she mentioned that she used to HATE writing 🤯 I realized I wasn't the only one. Because the thing is..... We love what we're good at. When I started writing it used to take me HOURS to get a decent email together....and I hated it. But I kept writing anyways... And turns out the more you write, the more you edit, and the more feedback you get, the better writer you'll be. And that goes for building sales pages, filming ads, creating skool graphics. EVERYTHING. Because no copywriter, or business owner should JUST write. In this day and age, you need a "full funnel skill set." You need to persuade people who have 0 problem awareness, all the way to the people that know about you and your solution. Show them that you are in fact someone they can trust. And that requires more than just writing an email. Anyways, I realized most the copywriting and funnel break throughs I had, happened LIVE. On calls, and in person. For example, I was on a call, in a breakout room with Max Perzon the other day, and he said some things that made me rethink my ENTIRE funnel. Now, (little insight into my business) 😎, I'm spending an entire week on systems to prepare for 10 new high ticket clients because of how clean our funnel is. That being said... I'm doing something exciting in (our insanely cheap) low ticket community 😉 I'm going to start going live for the first time ever. It's the only place I will be building out funnels with people IN REAL TIME. EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. It started with a video game Minecraft I used to upload minecraft videos on YouTube (now they are unlisted) Playing on less than 30 fps I enjoyed every bit of that journey Over 200 videos And more hours than I can count 47 subscribers was my best But today... While eating meatballs in the middle of my room I decided to check my phone and for some reason my fingers clicked on YouTube studio What it showed shocked me... I finally reached 50 subscribers!🥳 This really made my day And I'm sure that you have some too, so... What was your little win of today?😎
