We Hit 1K! 🎉 Back to Skool Monday Just Got a Whole Lot Sweeter!
I opened this group on January 14th and in about 7 months, we grew into a community of 1,000 people! And its super sweet that it happened at the front of Back to Skool week! The timing couldn't be more perfect! Before I say anything else... thank you! To every single one of you who joined, posted, asked a question, or just showed up and soaked it in. You built this. A few people I have to give credit to by name: @Kristi Rieke, my OG and Google Buster gal! She shows up with me every single day for the ever popular Google Busters and her consistency has meant more to me than she will ever begin to know! @Lynice Bamm, my quiet partner all the way over in Namibia, who keeps me grounded behind the scenes and is one of my biggest cheerleaders! @Lisa Drennon who has been pushing me since March to get out of my own way and actually do the damn thing. This milestone doesn't happen without you! @Tim Adam whose crazy visionary ideas helped me get this whole thing moving, and who has personally referred more members into this group than anyone else, hands down. This milestone has your fingerprints all over it! @Nick Nebelsky who made one post in his own community that single-handedly pushed us over the 1,000 mark. Talk about perfect timing! To everyone else who's shared this group, invited a friend, or shown up consistently... I see you, and I'm so grateful. Here's to the next 1,000. 🎒 I feel like dancing! Show me your best dance off GIF!

This is amazing, Heather — 1,000 people in seven months is no small thing, and landing it right at the start of Back to Skool week is a lovely touch. You're a fantastic person, and I'm really glad for you. Big shout out to everyone who's supported you along the way too — Kristi, Lynice, Lisa, Tim, Nick, and everyone else who showed up for this.
🚨 What's Your Problem Wednesday
Calm down, I'm not yelling at you! 😅 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀: Post your problem. A real one. 𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘 you're stuck on right now in your business — not "I'm struggling with visibility," but the actual thing. The exact tool that's broken, the exact strategy you can't crack, the exact thing you've googled four times and still don't get. We solve it. Anyone in the community can jump in with real help — advice, a resource, "here's who you should talk to." 🚨🚨🚨 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘 🚨🚨🚨 name it, don't link it...𝙮𝙚𝙩. If someone points you toward a tool, a community, a resource... great, they can tell you about it. But they don't drop the link 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝘀𝗸 for it. You want it? Say so. That's it. That's the whole rule. Why? Because it turns "here's a link, bye" into an actual conversation. And because none of us have DMs unlocked until Level 7 anyway, so this keeps it all out in the open where everyone can benefit... not just the person who asked. I'll go first below to break the ice then .... your turn. What's your problem? 👇

@Dean Ryan Martin Hi Dean, I had a look through your ad, and first of all, I think you’ve got a lovely place. This may sound a bit odd, but one of the first things that struck me was that, although I assumed it was in Mexico, it wasn’t immediately obvious. I think making the location crystal clear right from the start would help people picture themselves there straight away. Unless this is only aimed at locals familiar with Punta Mita. Another thing that caught my attention was the mention of TripAdvisor and verified reviews. Reviews are incredibly powerful because they’re independent, so I’d be inclined to make them work harder for you. If possible, include direct links to the reviews so people can see for themselves that they’re genuine rather than simply taking your word for it. The other question I’d be asking myself is: who is this really for? Who would get the most out of staying there? Families? Couples? Golfers? People looking for a quiet luxury escape? Business trips? Once you know exactly who you’re trying to reach, it becomes much easier to work out where those people spend their time online and how to get your property in front of them. I also had a quick look at your social media. I noticed your Pinterest account currently has very few monthly views. If Pinterest is something you’d like to use as part of your marketing, there are some genuinely knowledgeable people in this community. Heather is certainly one, and Tim Adams has built a fantastic Skool community around Pinterest that I’d really recommend looking into. They’re just some initial thoughts from a fresh pair of eyes. Happy to bounce around ideas with you if it would be helpful—I think you’ve got a great property, and with a few tweaks to how it’s presented and marketed, you could probably increase its reach quite significantly.
My passion is creating holidays and tours that let people experience the real Ireland.
Through Meadow & Sea Holidays and my Ireland travel services, I help people plan memorable trips to Ireland — from beautiful self-catering cottages and personalised itineraries to fully organised tours and experiences. What I really love is taking visitors beyond the typical tourist trail and introducing them to authentic Ireland: our small coastal villages, islands, traditional pubs, local music, food, landscapes and, most importantly, the people and communities that make Ireland special. I especially love working with international visitors who want more than a checklist vacation — they want to feel connected to Ireland while they're here. 🇮🇪 I'm also building my Travel to Ireland Club, where I share Ireland inspiration, travel ideas, art, hidden gems, holiday homes and special offers for people planning a future Irish adventure. So if Ireland is on your bucket list — or you know someone dreaming about coming over — I'd love to help them discover my version of Ireland.

Hi Stephanie, Lovely to meet you. I do love Ireland. Every time I’ve been, I’ve come away thinking I need to spend more time there. I’ve only really scratched the surface—I’ve been to Dublin a few times, spent a little time around Donegal, and every visit has reminded me just how welcoming people are and how much character there is once you get away from the obvious places. The funny thing is, living in Scotland, when I get a few days off my instinct is usually to head somewhere warm and sunny! So Ireland often loses out, not because I don’t want to go, but because I’m usually chasing a bit of sunshine. That said, your post is a good reminder that I really should make the effort to explore it properly one day. Heather is right—we haven’t had the chance to chat before. I also run my own travel business as part of the Not Just Travel franchise, although my approach is probably quite similar to yours in many ways. I enjoy getting to know people first and then helping them create trips that fit them, rather than simply finding somewhere to go. I always think the best holidays are the ones where people come back talking about the people they met and the memories they made, not just the hotels they stayed in. It would be great to get to know you a little better, share ideas, and see if there are opportunities where we could support one another. I can certainly imagine having clients who are looking for exactly the sort of authentic Irish experience you describe. Do you work with any major UK suppliers? I’m actually writing this while travelling through Morocco with my family—we’re making our way from the Atlas Mountains towards the Sahara Desert—so my internet access is a little hit and miss at the moment. But once I’m back home, I’d genuinely enjoy catching up if you’re up for it. Looking forward to getting to know you. Edgar
🚦 RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT WINNERS — and yes, I'm pulling the owner card on this one.
Normally I'd make myself pick one. Not today. This weekend's round had two people playing the game at the absolute highest level, just in totally different lanes... so we've got TWO green light winners this time! Whoop whoop! 🟢 𝗠𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞: @Edgar Brincat Edgar didn't just comment this weekend — he showed up for 9 different people with full, thoughtful, "here's exactly what's working and here's exactly what to fix" feedback. We're talking real breakdowns, not just a light and a "love it!" The kind of feedback that actually moves your message forward. And here's the thing that got me... he gave that away to almost everyone in the thread and didn't get much back for it himself. So consider this me closing the loop, publicly, with a green light and a great big thank you! This game runs on people like you 🙌 🟢 𝗠𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣𝗘𝗗: @Jenny Rader-Bakos Jenny touched 22 🥹 𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗬-𝗧𝗪𝗢 🥹 different people's posts this weekend. That's more than double anyone else in the thread. If you posted a one-liner or a graphic this round, there's a real chance Jenny was in your comments giving you a light. And she's not just showing up for the game... she just hit LEVEL 7 this past week and is now our newest Level 7 Spotlight member on the Event Showcase. Feedback machine, community builder, levelin' up in real time. Girls makin' moves. 🏆 Both of you are getting a 24-hour pin so the whole community sees it. Go drop some love on Edgar and Jenny in the comments... 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮'𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙩🚦❤️

@Heather Boers Thank you, Heather. That genuinely caught me by surprise. One of the things I value most about this community is that people are willing to give their time to help one another. It’s easy to focus on getting feedback on our own work, but communities like this only thrive because people are prepared to invest in others as well. I certainly wasn’t expecting this recognition, and I really appreciate it. Thank you for noticing the effort—it means a great deal. And congratulations to @Jenny Rader-Bakos too. Twenty-two people is an incredible contribution. She thoroughly deserves the recognition.
🚦 I'm about to geek out… and Red Light Green Light is BACK!
I pulled the numbers on this game and... not gonna lie... my mind was blown! 271 of you have played. Over 9,000 comments dropped. 25,000+ 'likes' handed out just from y'all hyping each other up. 35 of you have come back 3+ times. Some of you have played 5+ rounds. This isn't a one-and-done thing — y'all keep showing up! This started as a random Saturday idea back in March. It's turned into the thing people ask about when they DM me. So we're doing it again — same rules, your choice: 🟢 Drop your best business one-liner 🖼️ Or drop your graphic (logo, banner, thumbnail — whatever you want eyes on) 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆: Comment below with your one-liner (aka: elevator pitch; short 1 line to get your foot in the door, grab attention and earn the "tell me more!") OR your graphic. Then go give feedback on a few others using the light system: 🔴 Needs work — too vague, doesn't land, missing the hook 🟡 Getting there — good bones, but something's holding it back 🟢 GREEN LIGHT — this is clear, clicky, and ready to go One-liners: keep it to ONE line. Not a paragraph, not three sentences. Just. One. Line. 🎯 Graphics: drop the image and tell us what it's for (banner, thumbnail, ad, etc.) so we know what we're judging. 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁 — the best rounds are the ones where everyone's playing both sides.𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 when you've been given 2 or more green lights by other community members! 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗻! 🔴🟡🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢 Let's go 🚦Who will win this weekend!?
