Thanks to @Robert Sheard I followed suit and got this great shelf for my arsenal- 😊 it now sits proudly among my watches and jewelry box.

My little collection is already growing so quickly. I blame all of you! 🤣 I can see that these two little units will be full shortly and then I'll have to improvise. There is no organizational scheme here (yet) other than size and shapes of the bottles.

A question for the experienced brothers: Several weeks ago I tried Givenchy Gentleman Society Reserve Privée because everyone says it's the top of the Givenchy line. I really disliked it, but I couldn't figure out why. Today I tried a sample of MFK's Grand Soir. And I really dislike it, too, in pretty much the same way as Reserve Privée. I'm wondering if it's the amber note I don't like? But I don't really know what amber smells like so I can't be sure. Are there other popular designer fragrances that are strong amber scents so I can try to figure out what it is I don't like? I would love to get a kit from somewhere to let me experience scents in isolation to pin down my likes and dislikes.

Picked up a bunch of decants from decantx! All the big decants except for the gold I bought so I can decant my favorite scents. The gold one is Stronger with you freeze 🥶 it’s a shame they discontinued it because it’s soo good and fresh. I picked up the new YSL iced, azzaro absolute, Valentino purple, and Armani SWY powerfully. I’ll be using them over the next couple days as SOTD/maybe review more my thoughts then a full breakdown.

Tried the Givenchy GS line this week, here’s my rankings. (do not hold back on comments!) 😕 4th place: OG 🪵🌸 - nothing special, pretty good but missing oomph. 🥉 3rd place: Ambrée 🚬🌶️🍦- the faint sweetness is nice but doesn’t really do it… reminds me of SB Extreme. 🥈 2nd place: Sport 🍋🪻 - this one grew on me, at first it smelled grassy but took another sniff and it works. 🏆 1st place: Extrême☕️🍵🍃 - seduced my snout… The iris, coffee and mint combo in this is magnifique! Out of the whole line this is the one to reach for.
