Visiting Andreas cobin
I just visited Andrea’s cobin out here in Saint Helena Ca where she is building herself a Palletable Cobin. Thought y’all would like to see her progress. She’s definitely needing some help with the Cob so we’re talking about putting together on the sort of work party to help make that happen.

Fantastic loftationality!
Cob ramps
I think this would appeal to alot. Most homes have steps rather then ramps! These are so much easier and more conducsive to pets, aging folks and moving furnitaure in. If you could show on this for class and I bet get more in on cob to do for your courses! (frame @ bottom then I figure Cinder blocks under toward door) @Sir Cobalot elelliot @Matt Brna @Aziel Fearon 1. Feature a movable 1- use wood pieces & hinge. 2. Permanent type

Interesting. I am in Colorado, so ramps are not conducive to the weather with how much it snows, as when the snow melts and refreezes you're left with ice. They had a concrete patio repoured, and the contractors talked Dad into a slight slope right outside of a house door. Big mistake. An icy slope is about the most dangerous thing to have immediately outside of a house door. Especially when it is wet ice. I would only consider such in tropical climates, as is even freezes in the desert at night.
Building Community Community Building
Interested in assisting with builds in or near the greater Denver area in Colorado (cob, rammed Earth, adobe, hempcrete, etc). Have completed basic construction training (framing, electrical, plumbing, concrete) and am OSHA 10 certified. Introduced to cob in the late 1900s. Have completed one hempcrete workshop.

Importance of a roof
Hey y’all Miguel here. Just a little update. I am now in Northern California at a place called the solar living center where I’ve done lots of work in the past and I am working on touching up some projects. I did eight years ago. Just thought I’d give you a little video update on the importance of having a roof over your cob structures

@Sir Cobalot It'd be interesting to experiment with some DIY Pozzolanic Hydraulic Lime (PHL) recipes trying out varying mixes of a variety of pozzolanic materials. Nice hat!
