A new project.
@Dani Rosenblad James I’m not sure if it was the inquiry question you did last week about if your book was film or movie; that got me stimulated to start a new project. I have a lot of stuff going on. Mainly my first manuscript is with an editor and we’re pulling out the kinks because it’s a lot of material. Also, I’ve been kind of MIA because of all the other projects that I’m working on with my poetry and some of my community activism. But I had this crazy dream two nights ago and I was telling my daughter about it, and I was trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together to help me understand why my dream was like so chaotic.Crazy and all over the place and it had missing pieces, like a pages missing from a book, or a day missing from your week or a moment missing from the next moment. or before the moments that led up to something. I have this ability to remember my dreams very clearly and very fresh and lots of details. so I decided that I take a moment. Write it to remember what happened. so I said let me just start to write this down. so it end about 24 hours ago. I had an outline of 17 chapters for the bones of the book. Over 8000 word count and now the whole picture is clear on all of the embellishments and angles are sliding in to view.I need to add meat and refine my characters to complete the project and I’m done with first draft revision to the outline. Now diving down to fatten up the chapters with the storyline vision and I’d like to share the first two chapters would love feedback it will be in my next post. Thank you Dani you always inspire me. 🥰

🌟 Clarity Lowers Anxiety
There’s a power to having clarity when it comes to writing a book. 📕 When a writer mapped her chapters this week, her anxiety dropped instantly. She realized where she was going with her story. It began to clear the fog within her head and she understood so much! That’s from her story turning towards clarity. At first, she kept second guessing what to put down BECAUSE she didn’t have a CLEAR direction, a structure to the madness of writing a book! 📖 Structure protects creativity. It’s when we allow ourselves to work on structure, that it makes it easier for us to be creative! Think of structure more as guidelines. They can bend if need be and you can change them if they don’t work with a new idea of creativity that pops in. 💥 BUT, having that at the beginning will lessen anxiety! That’s why I have the Story First method. This is what helps you have that spine of your book, understand where you’re going with your book even before you start writing. ✍️ Comment “Ready” and let’s talk about your next step! ⬆️

Ready. I get what you mean about structure. I attended a webinar on writers with ADHD. They recommend that you create an outline before you write, even if you think you're a pantser, a discovery writer. Because you might find that you write much faster. I'm thinking that may have been my problem. I would just start writing...and writing...and writing, and not get anywhere. Or, what I'd do is circle back and rewrite what I already have. Or, I'd start writing then digress, then digress from my digression, lol.
Plans for the Week?
It’s a new week, meaning new goals! What are you striving to work on and complete? How’s your writing or book creating coming along? Are you running into any problems? Remember, this is a supportive community where if you do struggle with something, you can create a post and ask the others for guidance. Many of us tend to have similar issues especially when it comes to sharing personal stories. Now, if you’ve been dealing with the same obstacles for weeks, why not think about getting that extra help. Reach out to me and let’s talk about options to help you get your book finished! Share your goals for this and whatever struggles that have come up in the comments below! ⬇️

@Dani Rosenblad James I need to complete chapter 5 of my memoir, and to write the post for my substack "Alchemy of Meow."

@Dani Rosenblad James This is part of what my substack says, but it's not the About page. I don't know how to get to it. “You have my permission to gaze upon me now. That is all.” ~ Nebula, Cosmic Queen This isn’t your average cat blog. This is myth, multiverse, and mild chaos — all delivered with claws retracted (mostly). It’s also a place where manifestation meets purring entropy, and personal development gets filtered through whiskers, disdain, and the occasional hairball of enlightenment.
What Does it Mean to Work with Me?
I would like for all of you to know what can happen if we work together since I've been in your shoes where I had no idea of all the steps. My team and I have made it an easier and less stressful process for the writers. ✍️ When I wrote my first book, a children's picture book, I ended up spending around $4,000 to self-publish!! 😳 If I knew what I was doing and had found the right information, I wouldn't have spent so much. My next book, the international bestseller went a bit better. However, I didn't have the support that I needed and there were still some hiccups that I ran into. From these, I've gained so much more knowledge, I have business partners now and a team that helps with the whole process, and we have a system that works for creating a published book! 📕 You can get help with: ⭐️ Turning your idea into a story ⭐️ The steps to take before writing ⭐️ An outline and structure ⭐️ The writing process ⭐️ Promoting your book before it's published ⭐️ Editing ⭐️ Marketing If you want help turning your personal story into something that will reach the readers that you want it to, comment "NOW" and let's book a time to start! No more excuses. Let's work together and make your dream book a reality! 🌟 📕

@Shawn Helgerson Yes, you absolutely should promote your book! Oh, yes, that's right, there's going to be another government shut down, or could be, right? I'm so tired of it. Fortunately, when I write, I forget all that!

@Dani Rosenblad James Too bad I didn't meet you sooner. A few years ago, I worked with a book coach and he was TERRIBLE!!! I spent ALL that money and he would sometimes not show up for our sessions, cancel at the last minute, forget what he was doing, and generally not even read my writing beforehand so he'd have to read it during our session, and it was such a god awful experience I refuse to repeat this any time soon! I'm sure you're not like that, however, having spent all that money fruitlessly on people who only took my money, I no longer have the budget for anything. Maybe one day.
Writing in NOT the First Step 🛑
Many people think that writing a book is just that you write it and then you’re done. NO… If you do that, you’re missing some vital points! When I work with my clients, we work on understanding their ideal reader first, work on the core message and get an outline. Of course you can start writing at the beginning. But to save you some time and energy, have more of a plan. Writing a book entails: 📖 understanding your ideal readers 📖 research similar books 📖 have a plan for promotion 📖 decide what the book will do for you 📖 have an outline 📖 brainstorm theme 📖 have a core message 📖 write your story 📖 have an inner story and an outer story There are other pieces that have to be thought of as well! That’s why it’s great to have someone in your corner. Someone that you can work closely with! At the moment I’m taking new clients! This means you get to work 1:1 with me and not with some of the other coaches. We will use a system that works, get your ideas into a tangible story and turn it into a published transformational book. 📕 The first 5 people will also get a free customized author bio that can be used within your book, Amazon, GoodReads and many other websites specific for authors. ✍️ Let me know your thoughts! 💭 And if you’re ready to get that extra help to make this process more smoothly, DM and let’s set up a time to chat. 💬

@Dani Rosenblad James Unfortunately, I've always just dived right into the writing. Although I do have some ideas about the questions you posed.
