I'll start: Early in my training, I rushed steadiness work because I wanted to see results faster. I skipped steps. The dog looked good in low-pressure situations and fell apart when it counted. This is a little different then the training over all but does anyone have tips for a 5 month old pup that won’t swim with her back feet. We almost had a scare today and we live near the pond and want to make sure we are teaching her right. She’s a GSP

You cannot have chaos in the house and expect control in the field. If your dog cannot handle structure indoors, distraction outside will expose it. Work on: • Clean place reps • Calm leash handling • Controlled entry and exit • Structured daily routine Calm inside transfers outside. Where is your dog weakest inside the house right now?
