Our girls whine and bark in their crate 90% of the time and as soon as you put them in there no longer than 30 min they pee in their crate. They’ve been vetted so nothing urinary going on. Any tips?!
@Jake Delger it’s been like 8 months. Sometimes they don’t even bark it’s just automatic. Which is weird because they are house trained and don’t use it inside.
@Nicole R they are but it’s a weird situation we got the sister when she was 7 months old and they are now 8 months… so they didn’t technically grow up together from a young age. Even before we got the sister our girl did it. We just thought she’d grow out of it.
If your dog only listens sometimes, it is usually one of three things: 1. You are inconsistent. 2. Your expectations are unclear. 3. You are not following through. Dogs repeat what works. Where are you allowing inconsistency?
I can’t figure out why or how to get my dogs to not only respond if I have a treat…. I’ve trained dogs before but border collies and I feel like they just kinda auto did it.
I’ve seen the module on stand but is it different than stay or wait… I have an issue teaching wait for general obedience for in the house things but should stand and wait be different commands?
This is a little different then the training over all but does anyone have tips for a 5 month old pup that won’t swim with her back feet. We almost had a scare today and we live near the pond and want to make sure we are teaching her right. She’s a GSP
