I had a phone call from my watercolour facilitator, He had a family emergency and I stepped in I didn’t have a plan, It was nerve wracking cause they were expecting An intro to watercolours course, So I just “winged it” I tossed all my old cards for inspiration And spoke about free play What a lesson to be learned, I feel as tho I could have prepared more But we had fun The sun came out Everyone made art It was good enough… Where can you give yourself little more grace?

I was inspired by @Paulo Alexandre starry night, I remembered a time when I used to recreate historical art and make it my own, changing the medium, matching my mood, with colours, additions and words. Anyone else tried this? 1. Pick a infamous piece of art 2. Recreate it in your own style 3. Reflect on the experience This was one of the ways I learned what styles I like (like bold-blocky vs, blended or abstract/experimental vs traditional methods) What style do you want to play with? *I'm going to put a full prompt inside the classroom :)

Excited to be here

A few weeks ago I posted a comment here. https://www.skool.com/the-collective-spark-1851/happy-fun-friday-everyone?p=460db39c The kind response was very nice. Now I have progressed a little. Hopefully it goes well. For those concerned, I have worked out the sound quality, at least (good enough). Happy to hear criticism, however. Improving is my goal.
