I have been a bit rubbish in here recently, so let’s fix that.😇
I haven’t posted as much as I would like, mainly because life, travel, editing, and keeping up with everything has been a lot. But I definitely haven’t forgotten about this community, and I want to start bringing more useful cruise updates back in here again.🛳️ Perfect timing too, because in early July I will be back where I belong, on a cruise ship.🛳️ I am heading to the Norwegian Fjords on the newly revamped Liberty of the Seas, and I’m going to use the trip to share as much helpful, real-time content as I can inside this group. I have done the Fjords before, but this will be my first time doing them on Liberty since her revamp, so I am really interested to compare the experience. This is always such a different kind of cruise to a warm-weather sailing. It’s scenic, colder, packing is different, ports are different, and the whole pace of the cruise feels very different from a Caribbean or Med itinerary. While I am onboard, I will share updates on: • What Liberty of the Seas is like after the revamp • What the ship feels like day to day • Food, entertainment, cabins, and onboard tips • Norwegian Fjords port days • What I pack and what I wish I packed • Anything that surprised me • The little practical things that make a cruise easier If you have done the Fjords, what is one thing you think people should know before they go?👇 And if you haven’t, what would you want me to check out while I’m onboard? I will use your questions to guide what I post when I’m on the ship.😊

I recognized that you had been gone, and I was wondering. I am glad for this post. I think everything you mention is sufficient. And maybe some things I added when you first set out on this cruise life journey--you asked about what topics to cover. This is great, and I did not realize you were on land. I thought you were still cruising.
📌 Here for the working remotely tips? You are in the right place.
The guide brought you here, this is where it goes deeper. We have built out a full Working Remotely classroom inside this community. It covers everything the guide introduced: gear, connectivity, routines, which ships work best, time zones, where to actually sit and work, all of it, based on real experience across multiple cruises all over the world. 👉 Head to the Classroom tab and look for: “Working Remotely From Cruise Ships, The Complete Guide” If you have got a question the guide or classroom doesn’t answer, post it below. Someone here has probably already figured it out.

Horrible accident at Carnivals Island.
Whether this was a mechanical malfunction, a medical issue or just carelessness it's another horrible incident in the Cruise World this week. Look out for those you love and hold them tight. You never know when or how things will change. https://www.cruisehive.com/woman-dies-after-scooter-plunges-off-pier-at-carnivals-celebration-key/209019

My Intro: Well, after being here since February 12, 2026, I finally can take a break and formally introduce myself and answer these questions. I have added comments along the way and I will spend more time learning what I can from the Classroom section and participating in the comments. I love it here. My Answers: -Where is your next cruise (or dream cruise)? My next cruise is in November 2026 on the Utopia of the Seas. I am looking forward to it and sharing the experience with some family members. It will be my first time on UOTS. -What is your favorite thing about cruising? I am one who enjoys the ship. The ship is my excursion. I do get off the ship and experience the port, but the cruise itself is my most favorite. -One question you would love answered? So I've started a YouTube cruise channel, but nothing is on it. I'm interesting in know how to best capture videos and the number one issue--editing. I love cruising so I am just filming and covering what is interesting to me. I would like to know what is unique about cruising that I can focus my channel on when I get ready to fully develop it. For now, I am enjoying the cruise experience when I can and the break from work!😃
What is the longest cruise you have ever done?
Mines was 35 nights and I remember before we did it, people kept saying I would get bored after a week or two which couldn’t have been further from the truth. If anything, the longer ones are the ones that feel the most relaxed because you’re not constantly trying to fit everything in. I still get asked how much this cruise cost… would it be worth sharing? (Sailed from Barcelona to Singapore) I think people massively underestimate how different a 7 night cruise feels compared to something longer. Would be interesting to hear what everyone else has done because I know there is a mix in here.😊

I have done only 7 night cruises. I am interested in longer cruises though. I would love to do a repositioning cruise and a back-to-back cruise.

@Katrina Edginton Sounds like was I was told about cruising in a balcony stateroom. I could (& would) never got back to an inside cabin. I'm ready for it. If you plan a group repositioning cruise, let me know.🙋🏾‍♀️😃
