As I've been studying through Dr Ben Bickman and Dr Mindy Pelz, Ben Azadi and Dr Pompa What I've discovered is for me the variable diet keeps off plateaus and allows me to maintain my weight loss even if I indulge for a day or two. The concept is varying calorie intake from day to day to keep your metabolism guessing. So I do follow our fasting program in the order in which we eat but I change up sometimes how much I'm eating that day. So typical week looks like Monday Two meals fasting 18 hours, Tuesday one meal dinner that fast is 24 hours, Wednesday is what I call a feast day and I make sure I eat at least 100 grams of protein or a 100g of high quality carbs or I do three meals that day, Thursday I go back two meals within 18 hour fast, And Friday I usually do one meal which is a 24 hour fast. Saturday is another feast day like Wednesday and Sunday I usually two meals. I still follow with Unimate and a balance before each meal and I make sure that I vary what I eat so I'm feeding my gut microbiome different things. Sometimes on a feast day I just eat a lot of healthy fruits Take my balance and know I'm feeding different microbiome. For any of you on a Plateau attempt this for a couple of weeks and see how it helps.
