Keep your soil hydrated...
the next couple months represent the best rooting potential for your lawn IF you keep the soil hydrated. The grass will slow down due to temperature and available light but all of the plant's energy will be turned downward, into the soil. Remember, you don't have to water frequently, just deep. Once a week is probably appropriate right now unless it is warmer where you are at and then I would water twice. We want to get the water down 6-8 inches and that can only be achieved by watering DEEP!

Thanks for the advice, Brian! We had excellent rain last night and again right now as I write this, so I will watch it into the weekend and check my moisture readings. At some point in the next two weeks, the landscape company will be shutting down our sprinklers for the winter. Will you be back here soon for one more treatment?
I watched this the first year I learned about the Biological method.

Very interesting. Seeing earthworms as a part of the below surface life, are they someting I should be adding to my grass yard?

Thanks for your reply, Brian. I have seen some worms in our yard and certainly would welcome more. Another thing I noticed in the video had to do with fallen leaves decomposing into the soil. For years, I have used my lawn mower to 'mulch' fallen tree leaves for the yard. I plan to do it again this season.
