Jobber questions...
guys, what questions do you have about using Jobber? i'm interviewing Marlena Spiegeler from G&M Companies today at 10am MST ($6M excavation & snow removal biz in MN) She's a Jobber wizard and manages the back office while her brother, Garrett, dominates in the field You might have seen them on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/@GarrettWilliams2017 Marlena has become one of my trusted resources I go to when I have Jobber related questions (she's the one who pointed me in the right direction for building my snow removal routes) What Jobber questions do you have? Post them below, and I will add them to my podcast interview! P.S. We use Jobber quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payment collection. We also use it for employee time tracking and job costing for each job as well

I’d love to hear more about customer notifications around visits. Specifically: how Jobber handles when customers are notified (scheduled vs. day-of vs. on-the-way), what’s automated vs. manual, and best practices for setting expectations—especially for weather-dependent services like snow removal (if it ever snows here again).
what's your goal in 2026?
just got back from visiting my VIP client in Austin, TX & I'm FIRED UP! we filmed more FB ads on site, met the crews in person, saw the new Cat 285 & Fecon Mulcher, worked on strategy with ops manager, & crushed some good BBQ 🤪 back in May, another entrepreneur hired me to build a land clearing business for him they'll do over $90M this year in his other business but he wanted in the trades why? he sees the writing on the wall AI is taking over all the tech jobs I've said it before & I'll say it again... Local, blue collar service businesses are the best business opportunity of our generation (and the most AI proof) He saw what I built in Bear Claw and he wanted the exact same thing for himself... named my price he agreed 6 months later we're hitting $150k+ months how? simple using the same operating systems that I built to grow Bear Claw with Last month, I shared this Blue Collar Growth System with 18 other guys inside an intensive 4 Week Growth Sprint we covered how to: 1. get leads 2. win jobs 3. implement scalable operating systems and the guys crushed it @Blake Trant won his first $5k forestry mulching job before finishing the sprint @Trevor Hanosh booked $9k worth of Fire Mitigation jobs after finishing @Doug ODell got his first snow plow clients it's the same process that @Colby McArthur has used to go from $30k in his bank to over $200k I've got an exciting announcement to make soon for the New Year but first, I've got a question for you... what are your goals for 2026?

Great stuff, Austin! My goal is twofold, to grow and optimize my business. As a business of one, getting my systems dialed in is going to be key as the cycle of estimate requests rolling in, writing quotes, quotes turning into jobs, scheduling, and executing jobs seems critical to the demand I’m anticipating.

Do the Pricing Blueprint Workshop Go to Classroom → Start Here → Pricing Blueprint Workshop Watch “Stop Losing Money On Jobs” Fill out the worksheet under the video Then comment your numbers: “Crew day rate: $, Minimum job: $” 4. Watch 2–3 case studies Still in Classroom, open Case Studies Watch 2–3 that look most like you 5. 1. Doug O’Dell 2. Doug O’Dirt Property Protection? (planning stage) 3. Gravel driveway maintenance and repair, snow removal, wildfire mitigation, & subcontracting 4. Southwestern Colorado 5. I’m looking to learn from others who’ve built successful excavation businesses in this niche 6. At this early stage, I can offer help proofing copy and providing constructive feedback and “git ‘er done” encouragement. I’ll be more than happy to share my experiences on this journey. I’m here to be part of a community of like minded entrepreneurs where we can all learn from each other.

@Austin Gray, I’m very early in the process, but I’ve developed my business plan with what I think might be a differentiator: 4-season property protection bundled into annual maintenance contracts, so I guess the next hurdle is figuring out how to test/prove the concept before purchasing the equipment.
