Choose your hard
I’ve been reflecting on the idea of “Choose your hard.” It’s a reminder that life will always present challenges—whether you stay in a comfortable routine or step into something unknown. We don’t get to avoid difficulty; we only get to decide which difficulty is worth facing. Change is uncomfortable, and yet staying put can be just as uncomfortable . Real freedom comes when you intentionally choose the hard that leads to growth . Over the past few years, some of you have watched us jet from South Africa to the USA, Spain, France, and now the UK. Those trips were long, expensive and, frankly, exhausting. But they weren’t holidays. We did it to learn new skills, develop our infrastructure, and build relationships with partners and mentors who could help us elevate what we’re doing. All of this was to serve you better—to bring back knowledge and systems that will empower our Affiliate Funnel Junkies community. Along the way, we’ve hit some incredible milestones. We became Gold SaaS Award winners. We had dinner with Alex Hormozi and gleaned insights directly from one of the sharpest minds in the game. None of that came easy. It required sacrifices, late nights, and constant learning. But giving up was never an option. The alternative—staying comfortable, hoping our pensions would suffice—felt like its own kind of suffering. Stagnation can create a “low-grade dissatisfaction” , while choosing a meaningful challenge gives our work purpose. Our journey isn’t over. We still face frustrations and obstacles, but we keep pushing because we believe in what we’re building. And we believe in you. Every time we stretch ourselves, it’s so we can bring more value back to this community: better training, smarter strategies, and a stronger support network. That’s the heart of our latest campaign—helping you choose the hard that leads to independence and financial freedom. If you’re on the fence about taking action, remember that nothing is truly “easy.” You can endure the discomfort of staying put, or you can embrace the discomfort that comes with growing into something new. Choose the hard that moves you forward.

Can't say it enough... keep up the great work inspiring people like me to get off their A#$ and just do... Nothing was ever achieved by sitting around waiting for it to happen.
I wanted to sit down and write this while the week is still fresh — not once everything feels “figured out”, but right in the middle of it.
Minette and I arrived in the UK on 20 January, and what followed wasn’t a highlight reel. It was friction, admin, cold weather, stairs, delays, and a lot of moments where things didn’t go according to plan. London hit us first. Small flats. No lifts. Five flights of stairs. Suitcases up and down. Trains, buses, crowds. Everyone rushing — eyes on their phones, chasing the next commute. It was loud, fast, and oddly disconnected. It made us very aware of how easy it is to get trapped in motion without direction. We connected at a few events with potential partnerships and building our community and support. We attended the High Level event, where they are seriously considering coming to S.A! From there we headed to Doncaster, where Minette lived and worked years ago. Slower pace. Cleaner. Friendlier people. Strangers going out of their way to help us. It reminded us that environment matters more than most people realize. But one thing became very clear, very quickly: We packed for comfort — not for movement. Our luggage became an anchor. Every staircase, every train change, every check-in felt heavier than it should have. That’s when the idea of having our own wheels, our own space, our own “home” stopped being a nice-to-have and became essential. So we committed to buying the van. That decision alone opened a new chapter of challenges: - Needing a UK address just to purchase - Paying for a registered office service - Sorting insurance with South African licences - Paying a full year upfront (around £4,000) - Putting down a non-refundable deposit - UK Tax on the car and and and... And then… delays. Clutch issues. Gearbox out. Parts missing. MOT pending. All while we had no accommodation secured because we were timing everything around collecting the van. At the same time, business didn’t pause. We were running: - Daily Zoom calls - A 3-day online challenge - Paid webinars - Coaching sessions - Client work - Team management Across a 2-hour time difference, unstable Wi-Fi, and coffee shops that charged £7+ for two cappuccinos.

Story is amazing... Had anxiety just reading your journey but, O boy, what a ride and how rewarding knowing you did it and came out the other end having learn't more about yourself under pressure then you could have ever in a controlled environment office bound... Keep up the great work keeping us inspired

So I've been with / paid for the system from the last year (couldn't resist) and am only kicking into gear now... Life happened 😅 I'm doing this to help grow a community build a third revenue stream and better understand and learn how all the part of this complex ecosystem work so I can help my clients also understand and do better. I'm happy to learn grow and listen to all you really clever people that started ages ago and am hopping I'm a quick study to be able to help others like me... in time 😜
