Allow me to reintroduce myself. My Name is Trav!
What’s up everyone — I’m Trav from Long Island, NY. I joined this group to sharpen my mindset, become a stronger public speaker, and surround myself with people who think in abundance — not limits. I believe proximity and standards change everything. Biggest Goals: • Build the systems to close a multifamily deal every 3–6 months • 12 months: 150 units and working on a 75+ unit third deal • 24 months: Double that, create true time + geographic freedom • Transition from my W-2 (Lendio) without financial stress • Start a family with Jasmine from a place of stability, not pressure I’m focused on structure, discipline, and long-term wealth. Interesting fact: I made pastrami from scratch for the first time last year… and I meditate regularly. Balance is important. Looking forward to building with you all.

The Investor Mindset: What HNW Individuals Actually Care About
Most people think high-net-worth individuals are obsessed with money. They’re not. They’re obsessed with time. Time to think clearly. Time to avoid bad decisions. Time to stay out of messy deals. Time to work with people who make life easier, not harder. Money is already solved. Time is the scarce asset. That’s why HN Is don’t lean in when you “pitch harder.”They lean in when you reduce friction. Ask yourself: - Does working with me save them time? - Do I simplify decisions or complicate them? - Do I bring clarity, or just information? - Do I anticipate needs before they ask? Here’s the reframe that changes everything: You don’t earn HNI trust by asking for capita. Youearn it by protecting their time. When you respect time, money follows. Challenge: This week, put yourself in rooms where HNIs already are. Don’t sell. Don’t pitch. Add value. Remove friction. Buy back time for someone else. That’s how real investor relationships are built.

Totally agree. Time is the greatest asset that HNI think about. I will do my best to prepare before pitch.
The Introvert's Secret Weapon
Some of the most powerful capital raisers I know are introverts. Not despite it. BECAUSE of it. Introverts listen at a depth most people never experience. They think before they speak. They ask the questions nobody else asks. They make people feel genuinely seen — and that? That's magnetic. In a world flooded with loud, fast-talking people trying to close investors at a cocktail party — a calm, intentional person who actually listens? They own the room without ever raising their voice. The problem was never that you're an introvert. The problem is that no one taught you how to channel that depth into a capital-raising framework that works FOR you. You've been trying to out-loud the extroverts. Stop. Play your game. And as you begin to own the natural gifts you've always had — the patience, the depth, the genuine connection — you'll notice investors gravitating toward you in ways that feel almost effortless. Because trust isn't built through volume. It's built through presence. And you were made for this. 💬 Introverts — drop a 🙋 and tell me: what's your biggest challenge in investor conversations?

My biggest challenge is lack of confidence when I approach to new people. But I agree that I always think first before I speak.
