Jump vs. Zocks
Hello all. I am doing some research for a client who is looking into Jump or Zocks. I have been down a few rabbit holes and wondering any thoughts and opinions here on either of these platforms. I also heard a lot about Quin.

@Niki Clark I have a consulting client now that uses Jump. I spoke with them about the goals for their advisors and amongst other things it was growth of their practices by 25%. So I created customized scoring criteria for the advisor base using the Jump AI. Now we have metrics to "judge" each advisor's progress with achieving New Client Relationship --> Good Working Relationship --> Raving Fan. It's been pretty awesome. SO all that to say, the platform doesn't really matter if you don't set goals first to achieve the objective.
Claude office integration
@Joe Moss may not love hearing this, but I integrated Claude into Microsoft office. Now, I feel like a fintech super hero, and I’ve only played around with PPT…. I had the vision and Claude helped bring it to life!

@Alex Graf Firms that leverage AI in the next 5 years will build such a wide moat it will be impossible to compete. Good luck sir!

Welcome to the AdvisorTechBook community! I'm building out this community as an on-going companion to the infamous AdvisorTechBook I published in Feb. 2025 (2026 book just completed - May 5th!) I love AdvisorTech and I love reading books... hence "AdvisorTechBook" 🎯 My goal here is first and foremost is to build upon the Kitces AdvisorTech map by providing recorded demos, peer reviews, peer tech stacks, podcasts, and just about everything else related to the AdvisorTech space. So who's it for? - Financial Advisors - RIA Operators (CSAs, Ops Managers, COOs, marketing...) - Consultants - AdvisorTech founders and their teams - And investors in this space If you're any of the above, or anything remotely close, you're in the right place! πŸš€So let's get started with some introductions! Please comment below and let us know: 1. the who, what, where 2. Why'd you decide to join this community? 3. What are you working on currently? 4. Lastly, any resources you'd love to see! Now, for those resources: - 🎧 AdvisorTech Podcasts - πŸ—ƒοΈ AdvisorTech Directory (demos on demand - 🚧 under construction 🚧) - πŸ“° AdvisorTech News - πŸ’‘ Real Tech Stacks - πŸ… Top Podcasts, Books, LinkedInfluencers, Consultants, Communities, Conferences, Speakers (coming soon) - πŸ€– All the AI Notetakers for Advisors Don't forget to introduce yourself below! πŸ‘‡ πŸ—ΊοΈ Then check out the map and see who lives near you!

Hello I'm Dom. I do exactly what my LinkedIn headline says: "I help you [RIA owners] build a firm worth selling." I'm been in the industry since 1998. I currently run my own RIA (exiting in 2026 at a 3x multiple) and becoming a full-time consultant. I only believe in operating in my Zone of Genius because the most important currency to me is TIME.
Conferences?
Hey everyone, what are your thoughts on the value of the T3 conference? We'll be spending a lot of time next year meeting new people and introducing them to our platform, and we've had mixed results with various conferences in the past.

I've not been to T3, but I definitely respect Bob (had him on my podcast back in the day). But, I've been thinking about this a lot lately... I'm going to FEWER conferences, not more. Here's why: The best conversations I've ever had at conferences weren't in the sessions. They were in the hallway between sessions. At the bar after the keynote. At dinner with 3-4 people who "get it." The problem with conferences: You spend $2K-$5K (registration + travel + time), sit through 90% of content you don't need, and have 3-4 meaningful conversations with people you'll never follow up with. I'm spending 2026 in deep relationship with 15-20 people instead of shallow relationship with 500. Not saying conferences are bad. Just saying the ROI calculation changed for me once I realized the value was never the conference. It was the ACCESS to the right people. This could just be me after 25+ years in the industry.
