90 Day Blueprint!
I quite literally just purshased the 90 day blueprint because I felt like I was just trying a bunch of random different things to no avail and I wanted to find some type of direction. I’m about to start the courses and will update you all on the progress! Wish me luck and happy holidays everybody!

WHERE AM I GOING WRONG IN THE PROCESS
I’ve been doing pretty good at getting eyes on my music. It’s not much but it’s enough to make me wanna drop more content for the people that do listen. The biggest problem I have is getting people to engage and retaining the people that do engage. Even when they comment on the post to say they like the song they never actually listen to it. I respond to people, I engage with their content and other things such as networking. Where am I going wrong in the process?

Does artist development still happen?
The rise of digital distribution and social media has changed the way that artists are discovered and developed. While record labels and other industry professionals have traditionally played a key role in artist development, indie artists are now able to build careers without the support of a label, and are expected to have an established following before receiving any interest from labels. This raises the question: does artist development still happen in the same way as it used to? Also, what does the future of artist development look like in the age of digital platforms and social media? In other words, how can artists best navigate the current landscape of the music industry and build successful, sustainable careers?

In my humble opinion, Artist development isn’t nearly today as it was in the past. Everything is based on marketing now. Literally the industry allows anyone to get famous now off of one viral moment and that’s all due to marketing. I do agree with Jeff on the fact that third parties will handle this more and more frequently. Think about United masters or distrokid. All an artist needs today is a good marketing campaign. Cracking the algorithm to get people to see your content us the tricky part but all in all in todays market I think artist development comes second unless you can find a way to market that as well such as YouTube videos about things you learn as an artist. I hope that makes sense bro!

The ideal timeline for consintently dropping music?
I’m curious as to what would be the ideal timeline to consistently drop music? I was thinking about dropping a song every week but then over saturation comes into mind when you realize how frequently that is maybe one song every 2 weeks? HOW DO YOU GUYS PLAN TIMELINES OR HOW OFTEN DO YOU DROP YOUR SONGS? Any advice would help! Thanks in advance
