Question about levels
I’m still fairly new to Skool and not in too many communities. But I’m curious about the strategy around levels. Is this required for all Skool groups? Can you have members without gamifying interaction? Pros/cons? Love to hear thoughts from those in Skool communities or hosts!

Good question, Kim. I was wondering about that, too, because I'm someone who doesn't respond to gamification. But I've been thinking about my own Skool community and how I would like to reward the members who participate more often, and I can do that with the levels. I"m still tinkering with that -- working with the idea of rewards rather than gamification.
Who wants to play?
I'm posting a "promot" for Chat GPT right away if you want to try it out. :-) Then feel free to upload your results here. If you don't want to use Chat GPT, you can simply upload a few real pictures. Pictures that show your life right now. I'm curious. Here's the Chat GPT prompt: "Please create a portrait image of me based on all the information you already have about me. So a kind of vision board, or rather a live board. Include everything you've already noticed from our conversation so far in this image. Create this image in the cartoon Pixar style." I'll post mine in the comments

@TethRosZenia T I guess it's better than my ChatGPT output a couple years ago, which sexualized me in mini skirts and added a third leg....

Ready to come back to your book in 2026?
Writing your book shouldn't feel like a job. It's work, yes, but when you're writing about what matters to you, it shouldn't feel heavy or like it's being squeezed to the margins of your day. I've met many writers who started their books with purpose… but somewhere along the way, it turned into pressure. Plans, deadlines, accountability — all good tools, but doing it all yourself makes the work can feel like another job. I want to help writers get back to the enjoyment of it, to reconnect with why they started writing in the first place. That’s why I created The Return to Your Book Challenge. It's actually more of an unchallenge. Because I'm not asking you meet daily word counts. Instead, it’s about coming back to what matters. I want you to remember what inspired you to pick up a pen — or open your laptop — in the first place. Over two weeks, I'll deliver seven prompts to help you reconnect with your project in an intentional way. You’ll find the challenge inside Writing What's Possible, my Skool community for nonfiction and memoir writers. Join today and watch for your first prompt on Monday. Let me know if you’re joining — I’d love to cheer you on.

As soon as the college term ends and I finish entering grades, I am freeeeeee! Not really! I have a writing deadline before Christmas, and I need to do my year-end planning still. But then Christmas! It’s a big holiday for our extended families, and we live to celebrate with them.
We made it to #126 on Skool’s Discovery
Skool ranks communities by category then by engagement! We are in the money category where the bulk of communities are. There are over 18 million skool members. And we are 126!!! That’s from all of your comments, posts, GIFs, etc. And when this community becomes visible, more members will join and all your work to move up the leaderboard, speak in our summits and bundles, will pay off. Thanks everyone!! Drop me a 🔥🔥 if you’re just as pumped as I am!!
