My employer just placed me on LT disability.
My employer just placed me on Long-term disability against me will. I suffered a stroke during Covid 5 years ago. I had a vehicle accident at work and it slipped out that it was from things caused by my stroke that got " over looked " for the past 5 years. Now they placed me on Short term and have sent me to a few Doctors for evaluation and now my company is placing me on Long -term through Unium . I can not get a straight answer through my employer on what is going to happen . I hear from coworkers that I will be put on LT collecting 60% of my pay till I am 65 but I can not get a straight answer...scary part is I am only 51 and have 3 daughters will 2 in college and 1 still in High School. What should I do and what should I be asking?

from experience, to collect $ you needed to have Long Term Disability Insurance, usually through the employer. It is something that we had to sign up for yearly along with other health benefits. An application for payment will need to be sent to that LTD insurance company. Contact HR if you need more information on the company.
Monthly Earnings Limit
What counts toward the monthly earnings limit and what doesn't? I'm specifically asking about 401K rollover to Roth, would that amount count?
$255 death benefit
Question on the $255 death benefit. Can one child apply for that or do all need to and it be split?
