My employer just placed me on Long-term disability against me will. I suffered a stroke during Covid 5 years ago. I had a vehicle accident at work and it slipped out that it was from things caused by my stroke that got " over looked " for the past 5 years. Now they placed me on Short term and have sent me to a few Doctors for evaluation and now my company is placing me on Long -term through Unium . I can not get a straight answer through my employer on what is going to happen . I hear from coworkers that I will be put on LT collecting 60% of my pay till I am 65 but I can not get a straight answer...scary part is I am only 51 and have 3 daughters will 2 in college and 1 still in High School. What should I do and what should I be asking?
