My Future Self Story... be nice, sharing is scary :)
Today is May 6, 2031. I wake up at 7 a.m. in our Miami penthouse, sun already warm through the glass, Jon still asleep beside me. From the other room, I hear our two-year-old calling for me. I go in, kiss the top of their head, and hand them off to the nanny, who's already started breakfast. I pull on my workout gear, head out for class, and by the time I'm back, showered, and standing in the closet, my assistant has my bag laid out for the New York trip. Sharp jacket, tailored pants, the wardrobe I built once I stopped dressing for someone else's idea of what a CEO looks like. I'm flying up to speak on a panel about how to build a real company in the AI era, specifically how to combine a remote-first culture with AI tools without losing what makes the team feel human. In the car to the airport, I record a quick video on my phone and send it to my content team to post. The private jet is one of the things that still surprises me. I climb in, open my laptop, and knock out an hour of work before we land. The skyline pulls into view and I feel that old NYC pull, the one that built me before I left it. My assistant and I head straight to our New York apartment. I take a few calls before the panel. The first is with one of the largest home service companies in the country, a client we've grown alongside for three years. The next is with my team, who walk me through this month's numbers. We just crossed 500 clients. I sit with that for a second longer than I usually let myself. The last one is with Jon, we catch up on our vision for the next 5 years - we’re building a vision that’s even bigger than the one we have today. The panel goes well. After, I head to dinner with eight junior women entrepreneurs I'm investing in and mentoring through my program. Corner booth, glasses of wine, all of them sharp and ambitious and a little nervous. They ask me the questions I used to ask, and I give them the answers no one gave me. This is the part of the work that means the most to me.

@Josh Abramson Thank you Josh! I guess it's more of a draft at the moment and as I go through this program I might tweak it - we shall see. What are your thoughts on improving it/making it better?

@Josh Abramson Thank you Josh this is really helpful! I can definitely add more color to this - especially on the emotional side. I'll take another stab at this.
