The polite way of saying F*** in french?
Need to yell at your coffee machine because it broke for the tenth time today? ☕️ If you shout a "real" swear word, you’re just a tourist losing their cool. If you shout "Punaise!", you’re a local managing their frustration with class. 💅 It’s the ultimate "polite" swear word. It literally means "thumbtack" or "bedbug," but in the streets of Paris, it’s the linguistic equivalent of a dramatic eye roll. Use it when you drop your keys, miss your bus, or realize you’ve been studying French for hours and still can't order a croissant correctly. It keeps your blood pressure down and your street cred up. 🇫🇷 It literally mean fu**! But in a nice chic way! Join the french Community Skool, link in Bio. What’s your go-to "polite" word when you're frustrated? Tell me below! 👇 #frenchisfacile #frenchyaurelio #frenchlanguage #learningfrench #tcf

Hi there. My polite word is "goodness me" it helps me stay balanced when the day isn't going well. Now I need to learn some French expressions to release the everyday frustrations of daily life. 😅
Cultural Note: La Bise
In many French-speaking countries, people greet each other with "la bise" (one or more cheek-kisses). Key Takeaway: - Who: Usually only used with friends and family. - How Many: The number of kisses varies by region (usually 2, but sometimes 3 or 4! in Paris for example) ). - As a Beginner: If you are unsure, don't initiate it! Just offer your hand (a handshake) or a simple Bonjour. A simple Bonjour is always safe. 1. Quick Lesson: The Foundation - Je Suis... 📝 Writing Lesson: Who Are You? The verb ÊTRE (to be) is the most important verb in A1 . Today we focus on the first person singular: JE (I). - I am = Je suis Examples: - Je suis étudiant. (I am a student.) - Je suis professeur. (I am a teacher.) - Je suis Paul. (I am Paul.) Your Turn! Use this structure to introduce yourself and your freind/husband or wife, in that case you will use Il est or Elle est if she is a girl.
