๐Ÿ“ฃHello
Happy 4th of July
I hope you are all taking a break this weekend and enjoying some family time.

My girls are on the way here. My husband is a hermit, so we're not doing anything but hanging out here at home. He won't grill because "it's too hot", so we'll have to find someplace that's open. He won't go see fireworks because it will take to long to leave venue. I'm stuck here. Daughters probably won't stick around long after we eat. I'm sure they'll have plans to celebrate.

๐ŸŽฏ Skool Boost Keyword Ads: Is Your Community Card Ready?
I was participating in a discussion in the Skool Dads community about Skool's new keyword-targeted Boost Ads last night, and it really got me thinking. Jenna Ostrye (a moderator in the Skoolers community) shared an excellent video explaining how these ads work and how to choose the right keywords. One comment really caught my attention. According to Sam Ovens, as much as 80% of Skool's Boost ad spend is going toward keyword-based ads. If that's the direction Skool is headed, your community card just became one of your most important marketing assets. When someone searches for a keyword and your community appears in Discovery, your card has just a few seconds to answer three questions: โœ… Who is this for? โœ… What outcome will I get? โœ… Is this worth clicking? That's why I've been updating my own community card recently. I wanted someone discovering Bio Builders for the first time to immediately understand what the community is about and why they should join. As keyword traffic continues to grow, the communities with the clearest messageโ€”not just the coolest graphicsโ€”are likely to earn more clicks. Have you looked at your community card lately? If you had to describe your community in just a few seconds, would someone instantly know it's for them? ๐Ÿ‘‡Feel free to drop your card here for some feedback.

๐Ÿš€ The Contact You're Not Collecting
Most creators track followers. Some track email subscribers. Others track website visitors. But here's a metric almost nobody talks about... How many people have your contact saved on their phone? Think about it. Every time someone saves your contact, something changes. ๐Ÿ“ž Your calls display your name. ๐Ÿ’ฌ Your texts are instantly recognized. ๐Ÿ“ง Your emails come from a familiar contact instead of an unknown sender. You're no longer competing to be remembered. You've already been recognized. That's why I believe the goal isn't getting someone to scan your QR code. The goal isn't even getting them to visit your Link-in-Bio. The real goal is getting them to save your contact. Everything else becomes easier after that. Every future conversation starts with familiarity. Every follow-up feels more personal. Every notification has a better chance of being opened. This week, I have a challenge for you. Don't focus on getting more clicks. Focus on getting five new people to save your contact. Whether that's at a networking event, through your email signature, on a digital business card, or with a QR code... You're not just sharing your information. You're earning a permanent place on someone else's device. ๐Ÿ‘‡ How many people do you think currently have your contact saved on their phone?

๐Ÿ‘‰ Would Your QR Code Work in a Stadium?
๐Ÿ“ฑ Choosing the Right QR Code for the Situation Matters Not all QR codes are created equal. If you're meeting someone one-on-one at a networking event, coffee shop, meetup, or in-person conversation, a branded Logo QR Code is often the perfect choice. Your logo grabs attention, reinforces your brand, and creates a more memorable first impression. But what if you're promoting your community at a larger event? My friend @Nick Nebelsky is headed to a World Cup game, and if you've ever met Nick, you know he's a master promoter. He understands that when you're surrounded by thousands of people, visibility and simplicity matter. That's why a large, traditional black-and-white QR code is often the better choice for crowded environments. Why? Because high-contrast black-and-white QR codes are generally easier to scan from greater distances. The farther away your audience is, the more important scan reliability becomes. A simple rule: โœ… Close-range sharing = Logo QR Code โœ… Large crowds or long-distance scanning = Traditional Black & White QR Code The goal isn't just to look good. The goal is to make it as easy as possible for people to connect with your community, profile, or offer. Every extra bit of friction reduces the chances of someone taking action. ๐Ÿ“ธ Speaking of large-event QR codes... The image of Nick is AI generated, but it will work if you scan it from your desktop. Take a scan and see where it leads. ๐Ÿ‘€ Don't spoil it for everyone elseโ€”drop a comment with your first impression after you land there.๐Ÿ‘‡
