In the Lab 🧪
Hey, I’m Michael Gartenlaub. I’m 38 years old and living in South FL. Been working out on and off since my teens, but I just recently finished a 9-month program with Michael Dean, which totally transformed my body and mindset. Continuing on with the lessons I learned and keeping at it - fitness, nutrition and cal tracking, mobility all still on track 💪🏼 My favorite dessert is chocolate mousse. Happy to be part of the community!

I hopped on the hip adductor machine the other day for the first time in a while and I’m feeling it. Extra mobility will be in my near future.
Day 5 - Halfway Point 🔥
We’re halfway through the challenge, so let’s take a second to look at what we’ve already stacks up 💪 If you’ve been following along, by now you’ve already done at least 100 push-ups, read 50 pages or 50 minutes, and gotten in 50 minutes of intentional movement. That’s consistency right there - showing up every day, even when it’s small, and letting it add up over time.

I’m back at day 1 😔. Did my reading in the morning yesterday but work just went way too late and before you know it, had to run to dinner and then just didn’t get home til midnight. Will start all over

How are you fitting the consistency challenge into your day? Do you set a specific time? Or just get it done whenever you can? There’s no one right way to do it - what matters most is showing up and getting it done.

Progress Shoutout
Give it up for @Kyle Schmidt 👏 1 month into the program… 15lbs down!! Started at 336 and already down to 321. That didn’t happen by accident. He stayed consistent, navigated Easter weekend without falling off, allowed some flexibility, and kept showing up. This is what it looks like when you commit and follow through. Progress won’t always be this fast, but this first month is proof of what’s possible when you lock in. 🔥
