HI Jason - been playing with Openclaw since it came out - currently treading very slowly & carefully. Mostly been programming with it to create Youtube summaries & "wisdom" extracts via Whatsapp. Hosting it in an incus container, so I can export the whole shebang anywhere at short notice. End goals include things like: "spin up a Wordpress site for [NAME OF BUSINESS] [Category] [Contact Info] etc, so I can create sites "on the fly" for local businesses. Not difficult to do, but I'm currently spending more time deciding on whether openclaw or one of its more secure & smaller footprint clones would be better. Also played with Claude Code using openrouter & local LLMs, but claude code is waay too clunky in terms of "token wastage". Currently using a mixture of ollama on a 16GB GPU and gpt-oss120b on openrouter with openclaw to see if it's good enough for most of the simple "tool-calling" that I'm using openclaw to manage. That's obviously under-using its capabilities, but that feels like a safer route for the time being.
