Have already prioritized footwear. So now it would be Tailoring and pantalones.
Summer Workwear
Wanted to get some perspectives on which pieces and types of clothing would work very well for outdoor workwear during the summer. I live in SC where we’re known for very hot and humid summers. Accounting already for proper hydration, wide brimmed hats and working outside during the non peak hours, what are some clothing pieces (natural materials), that would not only be functional for everyday yard work (breathable, protective and durable), but also be decent looking? Thank you.

@Darren Poesel Thank you for the excellent suggestions. Appropriate pants are my main focus for this summer workwear and I will definitely look into linen or linen blends more for uppers. It’ll be a new experience for me trying long sleeve button ups for the summer since short sleeve and T-Shirts have predominated my wardrobe for years, especially for the summer time.

I’m a little biased in my choice because the Wool Overcoat was the first real staple piece of classic menswear that spearheaded my wardrobe. It’s just a simple, elegant, functional and highly versatile piece of clothing. More functional than the Peacoat due to its length with keeping more of your body warm. More durable than a puffer, better at thermoregulation if you’re wearing an all wool one and more versatile in the wardrobe. Only one that’ll give the overcoat a run for it’s money is the leather jacket, but it still beats it in functionality because wool still insulates when it’s wet, the overcoat still covers more of the body unless you get a leather trench coat, and a leather jacket’s warmth relies heavily on the liner, not the leather itself. But leather jackets are still awesome!
