Balloon Dresses
Anyone have experience making Balloon Dresses? This is my first time attempting one of these, and I really enjoy it, but I'm flying blind. If you have any tips or best practices, I'd love to hear your notes on my work.

Glow stick balloons!
Anyone had luck with glow sticks and 260 balloons? Apart from swords and longer items anyone done anything else?

I've never tried it but that's a fun idea! I've also heard of some people using pipe cleaners. I'll have to keep glow sticks in mind for the future!
Injuries 🤕
Last weekend I worked all Saturday, and my left wrist was bothering me a little, but nothing bad. Then by noon on Sunday, I was in debilitating pain and a muscle in my forearm was swollen like an egg. I haven't done proper line work in about 5 months, and didn't stretch or warm up, so I think if I did that I could have avoided this. What do you do to avoid repetitive motion injuries? By the way, looks like a case of De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, and here's a link to a good video about what to do if you feel this as well: https://youtu.be/Dvdko_emB4M?si=vL_NDoKo1DzX8S_5

I don't have experience with this but I hope you feel better soon! That does not sound fun 😬

Your Opinion: Are Balloon Artists mean people?
Storytime!📖 🤡When I first started balloon twisting in Los Angeles, I worked at an outdoor mall alongside at least six other balloon artists. Competition was intense. One dude was particularly mean. He’d set up right next to me, blast music to drown me out, tell families not to come to my line, and even yelled at me in front of kids a few times. I was only 20, and that experience shaped how I saw the industry for years. 🎈For a long time, I kept my distance from other balloon artists. I assumed everyone was territorial and cutthroat, so I avoided them. But as the years went on, I met more and more artists who were generous, collaborative, and genuinely supportive of each other (shout out to Kenny the Clown! Some of you know who I mean, he's a joy). It completely changed my perspective. Now, I see how powerful it can be when creatives share ideas, refer gigs, and grow together instead of competing in isolation. 🐒I’m curious: What has your experience been with other balloon artists, more competition, more collaboration, or a mix of both? Tell me your story in the comments 👇

Balloon Decor
Hello everyone! After taking a few classes, I think I’m ready to start Balloon decor! I’m putting a star kit together. Any recommendations? Any advice appreciate it. I know to start at home and then offer free to build a portfolio and confidence. Thank you!

@Kevin Bice I'm assuming you have to have a large car for decor? I can't imagine even a column fitting in a sedan!
