What's cooking?
Last night I thought I was getting ahead for Christmas Day and whipped up a batch of sausage balls from scratch. Only, it has been a log time since I've made them or even had them. They smelled so good that I could not help myself. I had one, then two, then..."Oh heck, I'll make another batch for Christmas. We are eating them now!" What holiday treats are you eating today or eagerly anticipating?

@Hope Stephens I must admit they are not. Saying that I lived in a West Indian household and now a Danish one, so it might be a "thing" in the UK, but I must admit I have never heard of them. They sound delicious, tho.

Healthy Cooking Method Poll
We are probably all eating more than normal due to the holiday parties and events currently. Sometimes we have to be more intentional at home to counter what we face out in public. So, when you are preparing meals at home, what's your favorite healthy cooking method?

@Hope Stephens Hmm, I need to look into getting one of those. We would probably use it more.

@Hope Stephens hey, thanks for the link. They're not that expensive either.

Grinch Meal Dill Pickle Fries
I did have success with that attempt(s) at a real food version of the McShaker fries. Here's the video and the printable recipe is in the classroom under the Budget Recipes. Now I'm looking for other foods to use it on...like maybe popcorn.

I love this video and recipe. I'm gonna try these at the weekend. I must admit, I never tried cooking like this before. Thank you!

@Hope Stephens Sure will. Excited to try it :)
A Little Housekeeping
As I keep working to build out this community, I just wanted to let you know that I have added linked several videos to the Budget Dinners course under the Classroom tab. They are videos individually linked by the recipe name for easy access. I hope you are all enjoying a blessed weekend and getting the rest you deserve. Do you have any big plans or are you Skooling on the sofa?
