Mental Health for Parents Mini Series
This week… we’re shifting. We’re starting a new mini series: ā€œMental Health for Parentsā€ Week šŸ§ šŸ’› Because let’s be honest… A lot of the conversations focus on the children… But nobody really stops and asks.... ā€œHow are YOU doing?ā€ The tiredness. The overstimulation. The constant correcting. The pressure to get it right. The frustration you don’t always say out loud. And then still trying to: be patient be consistent be present be strong for your family It’s a lot. And some of you are carrying more than you let people see. So this week… We’re not ignoring the kids… But we ARE making space for YOU. We’re going to talk about • emotional exhaustion • feeling overwhelmed and overstimulated • guilt, frustration, and pressure • how to reset without checking out • how to take care of your mind while still leading your home And yes… we’re going to pray too. This is a safe space. No judgment..... No pretending... Just real conversations....

Great topic
Post 2:Mental Healthāš ļø Trigger Warning: Sensitive Topics
Let me say this first…This is not for you to feel bad for me.....I don’t feel bad for myself. This is for you to be encouraged. Because the truth is… Life did not hand me the easiest start. I remember having a mother who was sick… Me and my sister just going from house to house. I remember being touched inappropriately. I remember losing my mom at 8 years old. I remember being placed in situations that no child should ever have to navigate. By 13… I was in a sexual relationship with a family member that lasted for years. I’ve had an abortion. I know what it feels like to be on the street trying to make money just to feed my child. I know what it feels like to have a father for your child that doesn’t want to be there. I know what it feels like to think you finally figured love out… only to realize you married a narcissist. I know pain!!!Not the surface kind. The kind that sits in your chest. The kind that rewires how you think. The kind that follows you into adulthood. So when I talk about mental health… I’m not talking from a book. I’m talking from experience. But here’s the part that matters.I had a choice. Not just as a parent… But as a person. I could stay in the place life tried to leave me in… Or I could rise. And that’s the part people don’t always talk about. Yes, feel it!!! Yes, acknowledge it!!! But do NOT stay there. Because you are not just what happened to you. The Word says in 1 John 4:4: ā€œGreater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.ā€ In Romans 8:37: ā€œWe are more than conquerorsā€¦ā€ In Isaiah 54:17: ā€œNo weapon formed against you shall prosperā€¦ā€ In 2 Corinthians 5:17: ā€œIf anyone is in Christ, they are a new creationā€¦ā€ In Philippians 4:13: ā€œI can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.ā€ So yeah… I went through it. I had to get it out the mud. And if you don’t know what that means… it means starting from nothing, figuring life out the hard way, surviving things that should’ve broken you, and STILL finding a way to stand And here’s what I learned:

PRAISE GOD
HI Everyone, I thank God for my life and Everyone here

Welcome to Kingdom University šŸ–¤I’m so glad you’re here. This community is for Christian parents who are trying to break generational cycles, raise emotionally healthy children, and stop parenting from survival mode. A lot of us love our kids deeply, but we were never taught how to discipline without yelling, how to stay consistent, how to teach our children about God, or how to heal from what we went through while still showing up for them. Inside Kingdom University, we focus on 4 things: 1. Healing the parent 2. Disciplining without becoming who hurt us 3. Raising children who know God 4. Equipping teens for real life and real faith Start here: Introduce yourself in the community and tell us: How old are your children? What is your biggest parenting struggle right now? What are you believing God to change in your home? You are not a bad parent. But you are responsible for breaking the cycle. Welcome home.
