@Lion Fludd oh yeah, for sure! I need to make a video for the About page.
Take over or start fresh?
I have the opportunity to take over an existing community with over 300 members. There are no course modules uploaded and the community has been neglected, but they want the information. I have a lot of experience in the niche, and have the community all mapped out already. I have graphics and outlines and training. Not everything is completely launch ready, not even close, but I have probably 20 hours worth of work invested in it already. I can take that and create a brand new community or I can take over this one if it works out. What would be best? There is already a lukewarm audience here, but when a community is neglected, how does Skool treat it? Is there still the same opportunity to be discovered? Or would I be better off just jumping full force into something brand new?

@Rose Colbourne I think my biggest concern is that I will be operating the new community from a faceless account. Meh, I’m sure it’s fine. I’ll leave it up! :)

@Rose Colbourne I am uploading module covers right now and I think it looks really good! How much do I need to have built out within the modules before I do a soft founders launch?
When to launch?!
I am a bit stuck in analysis paralysis as I work on developing and fine tuning what I want my community to look like both with content and aesthetic/branding. I don’t want to launch something that isn’t ready and then potentially push people away. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. But there is so much advice out there to START MESSY. When do you launch??! Is it really beneficial to launch a ghost town? How can I identify what is TRULY a minimally viable community? I want to do this and I don’t want to get in my own way.
Are you building or growing?
Yesterday I spent pretty much all day building. Working on the 30 Day Growth Sprint. And I spent very little time engaging. In fact, I have several communities where I can promote Skool Homeroom... but there's days that I'm so busy building something that I never get around to actually doing it. And the community that drives the most traffic? I procrastinated on writing my weekly post for it until the last minute. And the results from the post that went out today really shows it. It went out this morning and... crickets. No new members. Hardly any likes or comments. That's what happens when building wins over growing. There's always something to create. A system to set up. A resource to finish. A post to write. But none of it matters if nobody's showing up. So here's my question for you 👇 Are you spending more time building than growing? Drop your answer below... then go do ONE thing today to grow. Engage somewhere. Comment on a post. Show up where your people are. Build AND grow.

I was on worship team for Easter today, so I sang at 3 services. Now I’m going home to clean and then cook for my family!
