⚔️Weekly Challenge
Here’s your challenge this week: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱, 𝗱𝗼 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱. Planned a 30-minute walk but only have 10? Walk for 10. Planned to cook but got home late? Assemble the simplest nourishing meal you can. Your challenge isn’t to have a perfect week. It’s to catch yourself when you start thinking, “If I can’t do the whole thing, there’s no point,” and choose something instead of nothing. 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

I've definitely done the, "If I can't do the whole thing" routine. I've convinced myself on many occasion that I have to have a perfect week, and when that falls short, I'm discouraged of the set back. But thank you for this simple challenge to keep, by pushing through, even with the minimal.
✅Thursday Check-In
Quick sleep check: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗱𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲? No judgment attached to your answer. Tomorrow morning I’m dropping a brand-new one-page tool called 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗔𝗺 𝗜 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱? 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸-𝗜𝗻 to help you look at several pieces of the puzzle and figure out what might actually be affecting how rested you feel.

Depending on the kids and yes, that dadburn screen time on our phones, we're all over the place, and then other times we are consistent, but for a short time.
💡Try This
Tonight, try something almost ridiculously small: 𝗣𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹. You don’t need to create the perfect nighttime routine. Just give yourself 15 minutes when your brain isn’t taking in one more post, headline, message, email, or video. Use those minutes however you want. Read, pray, stretch, talk to someone, sit quietly, or just go to bed a little earlier. Tomorrow, notice whether those 15 minutes made any difference at all.

I tried this with my phone earlier this week. To be quite honest, I had withdrawals. The phone really is addictive, but after a little while, I found it freeing of not checking on notifications.
⚔️Weekly Challenge
This week’s challenge might sound easy. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝟭𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟯 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸. And here’s the important part: don’t immediately fill it with something else. 😂 Use it to sit outside. Pray. Take a slow walk. Drink your coffee while it’s still hot. Talk to someone you love. Read. Rest. Or simply be quiet for a few minutes. We’re often so accustomed to filling every available space that margin can feel strangely unproductive. This week, practice leaving a little room. Not because you’ve finished everything. Just because every minute of your life doesn’t have to be filled. Who thinks this one will be harder than it sounds? 🙋‍♀️

Now THIS I can do. This sounds like a breath of fresh air.

When you’re trying to eat healthier, it’s easy to start with everything you think you need to stop eating. Try flipping that around. Instead of asking, “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆?” start asking, “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱?” Maybe breakfast needs some protein. Maybe lunch needs some vegetables. Maybe your afternoon snack needs enough substance to actually keep you satisfied. Healthy eating doesn’t have to begin with restriction. Learning to nourish your body well is a skill, and like any skill, it gets easier with practice. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲.

It really is a strategic thing when being intentional about what's on your plate.
