Another account this can happen to is the depend care FSA. There is a family limit, regardless of how many children you have. we accidentally contributed from both of mine and my wife’s account one year and had to mark half of it as taxable during tax filing.

Isn’t it crazy how you can go to school for 18 years (22 years if you’re a doctor) and you never learn how to efficiently transfer money from your LLC to your personal bank account?
