Somewhere some how, you were taught money is a taboo thing to discuss. It's not appropriate. It's rude. It's too braggy. It's something private. It's something only you, your banker, or your tax person should know about. Heck some people might not even talk about it with their person. But why? Money touches sooo many different aspects of our lives. We use money on practically a daily basis (👀 I see you no spenders but like your bills? You getting paid?). So why is talking about it some scary embarrassing awful thing? I help people by providing a safe space to practice money talk. To do it online until you are confident enough to take it offline and do it in the real world. We open up. We start with baby steps of easy questions or gifs to just crack open the door a little. We have weekly unrecorded calls to meet up with others and hear the stories. I can't tell you how many times I have seen members nod their heads in agreement when people share. We get it! I spent all day yesterday working on something and didn't spend much time taking on top of my Skool notifications. So today when I sat down to clear my notifications it said 99+. I just spent an hour and a half going through each and every notification. I have 199 activities that I just did in an hour and a half. So how do you handle notification clean up when you end up with way too many?
