Today is a Uranus Cazimi. Pay attention to what comes through. Themes, epiphanies, messages. It's the initiative energy of this cycle of Uranus which has just moved into Gemini. Since 2018 Uranus moved through my 2nd house and absolutely took me on a ride of my personal self worth and wealth. I am forever changed. I'm excited that's it's moved on though! 🥵 Today, what I woke up to was several messages/posts from artists more in the greater art world system than I...speaking about its failure and their bewilderment and strategy for doing their own thing in the wake of not finding purchase within the system. Old systems are breaking down. This is good. The individual is being asked to define their own path and I'm so heartened that my work is aligned with this. This has me encouraged with my divergent path and I'm curious if I still have any old model dreams that could benefit from shifting. I'll keep observing and pondering... not the time yet for acting I feel. I wish I'd had a heads up about the last transit so I'm sharing this with you. I hope it's ok to ask this here - I am looking for advice. I have representation with a brand new gallery in a great area - they opened in January 2026. They are offering me a show in Feb 2027 - it would involve my sending work to fill 110 linear feet. I have never done a show like this in the past. I am looking at it practically - what my cost would be to create and deliver (10-15) 36x48 or larger paintings. What other things should I be thinking about - is there precedent to ask for shared ship costs or something along that nature? I should also add that they have yet to sell anything of mine, so I also feel that the jury could still be out on whether my art is a good fit for them - but then again, it could also be that they are growing/getting started. I welcome your tips/advice on how to measure if this is a good opportunity. Thanks!
