How often do you really clean the coop? 😅
No shame. We’re among friends.

Weekly, unless the number of chickens per coop gets off. When just a few extra go in a coop it seems to double the poop.

I don't know about biggest personality, but the sweetest out of all my 125 - 150, would be Marshmallow, a silkie rooster. He was in the wrong bin, but I am so happy I have him. When my hens sit, he helps, once the babies are here he continues to help. When the mommas finish, he is still there helping the babies. I have no other silkies, but will want one when he is gone, absolutely not a fighter, runs from all other roosters.

@Jared Latigo meanest one I've ever owned was a bantam old English rooster. He would hide and then launch into an attack. He jumped in the back of my brother's truck and wasn't noticed until down the road. My brother stopped and tried to get him in the front to bring him back, but he flew off, never been so happy to lose a chicken....
How’s the weather where you are?
We got 14 eggs for the first time in forever the other day. Now getting a decent amount since the weather has warmed a tad. Much better than the 1-2 we were getting! Def looking forward to more spring weather and it’s warming up quick here in Texas. Hope you’re all starting to see some spring come your way!

It's been in the 70s-80s here, getting lots of eggs!
Drop your favorite chicken treat that isn’t the obvious stuff.

Something some of you know...and the rest will want to.
I haven't said anything about our business in here for the reason that I want to make sure this community stays flowing with great conversations and information all related to chickens. That is the ultimate goal for this community and I've seen some amazing conversations, helpful posts and tons of great stuff so far! But I would be holding back if I didn't tell you about the business we run here that is right up the alley of most of you chicken tenders. As some of you know, we run a brand called The Chicken Bawks. It's a monthly tshirt subscription and other chicken apparel focused solely on the love of chickens. We've been doing this since 2020 and have a solid portfolio of reviews and our commitment to making amazing chicken tees for the backyard tender community. We currently ship to every state in the US every single month and we LOVE doing it! So while I'll keep this few and far between in terms of "promotion" I want to be forward about myself and the brand behind this community. Our first focus is to build this into a community larger than our brand and reach new chicken tenders with a great place to find awesome chicken info and other people to connect with. That will remain the focus but thought you should also know about our tees. Feel free to give us a look, we just happen to be running some special deals this weekend and you can get in on it if you want. Check the spring collection out at https://thechickenbawks.com/pages/spring-collection

Coop hair don't care and I scream, you scream, we all scream for no reason are my two favorites. I have to get another coop hair because I spilled a bleach mix on it.
