Nobody Told You How Trauma Is Actually Formed 😲
(Don’t want to read? Scroll to the bottom to watch my video on this) As I have told you already, trauma in the most simple definition is unprocessed emotions. But I have never really went deep in depth about how it is formed, so let us get in then. Let me give you an example from one of the most common traumas. Family trauma. Imagine this, there is a 10 year old kid okay, called Bob, and at random his drunk abusive father will just hit him, it is unpredictable, which leads to anxiety by the way… Let’s say one night his dad was drinking heavily then out of no were he just slaps him across the face, then the dad goes over once again and says “Of you cry I will do it again.” So Bob does not cry, he does not process the emotions he feels so deeply in the moment. Now that emotion is “trapped,” in him until he does the inner work. That is how it is formed. And of you are wondering how to heal from trauma, here is my post on it: https://www.notion.so/FULL-HEALING-TRAUMA-GUIDE-298400d239d68034af4fe999bd8cbca0?source=copy_link
