Lessons From West Coast Trials
Surprisingly, as you guys may have seen - no Kingsway athletes (Gordon Ryan’s gym) were the west coast trials champions. This goes back to what I was referring to in the introduction video. Everything is an open secret now. The playing field is being leveled. It’s no longer enough to just train at a super gym. Everyone has all the secrets and all the counters to every counter. What matters more is the intelligent coaching and programming that produces success on the big stage. Many people from non-super gyms ended up being champions because information is available to everyone, but intelligent personalized coaching is not. What are your guys thoughts on this?

Personal training is great for making progress in Jiujitsu. Perhaps a good place to start is the question of why do Jiujitsu in the first place? Why did you set up this video course, Eddie?

I saw your leglock tutorial on YouTube where you described doing the same entry on the other leg after they step it back. I just watched the first video here and one take away I will be implementing is to keep my eye level slightly lower than my opponent's. Great stuff, man! Right now this is a hidden gem of knowledge.
