Glad you made it here 🙌 If we haven’t met yet, I’m David, and I’ve been in the affiliate game for over 10 years. This group exists for one reason: to teach you how to build an affiliate marketing business that actually works. (without the grind, the guru hype, or selling your soul). Quick heads up: This group is brand new, so things aren’t completely built out yet. But that’s the fun part — you’re here at the start, and you’ll help shape how this community grows. Here’s what you can expect: - Step‑by‑step strategies to grow an affiliate marketing business - Honest discussions about what’s working (and what’s just noise) - Support & feedback as you build a business that gives you more freedom and flexibility Now I want to hear from YOU: Drop a quick post in the group: - Who are you? - What do you want to build with affiliate marketing? - And (just for fun) — what’s your dream “work-from-anywhere” spot? 🏝️ Let’s make this a place where we all learn, grow, and have some fun along the way. David

The stepping off part is always the hardest for me. I've worked for airlines for 20 years, so travel comes to mind. But seems like there are so may in travel that it would have to be pretty narrow. Just my thought. Wellness is the other. I've even thought about going in a direction where I have had little experience and learn a new subject. The hardest part to bite into is that I am going to make content... :) I watched your piece on doing in person content. But I've also thought about doing Ai content for certain items perhaps. I am also an adult toy expert, I know sounds odd but I am. I see that once you get niche going and understand, then you could branch out. Honestly I'm a bit afraid, HAHAHa... but honestly yes.

@Bob Miller Hello. Sorry, been on the road due to family. Not sure what you're asking.
🏝 How to Pick a Profitable Niche (If You Actually Want to Get Paid)
Too many people pick a niche because it sounds cool… then realize their “income plan” is selling $12 coffee mugs on Amazon for $0.47 a pop. If you want your niche to actually pay the bills, you have to flip the script: 1️⃣ Start With Offers That Actually Pay Before you decide what to make content about, figure out what pays well. Look for products and programs that: - Pay 20%+ commission or $20+ per sale - Offer recurring commissions (monthly/yearly) - Have consistent demand all year 💡 High-payout categories: - Software/SaaS – productivity tools, design apps, marketing platforms, security software - Digital Products – courses, templates, memberships, educational bundles - Subscriptions – insurance, premium travel apps, membership communities 2️⃣ Pick Your Audience, Then Your Topic Don’t start with “I want to do travel” or “I like fitness.” Instead, ask: “Who buys these kinds of products over and over, and what problems do they have?” Example: - A business owner who needs tools to run their company remotely - A hobbyist who’s willing to invest in training to level up - A traveler who spends money on planning, booking, and staying connected 3️⃣ Create Buyer-Driven Content Likes and views don’t pay rent — purchases do. Focus on content that naturally leads to affiliate clicks: - Tutorials (“How to…”) - Comparisons (“X vs. Y — which is better for ___?”) - Best-of lists (“Top 5 tools for ___ in 2025”) 4️⃣ Go Narrow, But Deep Choose a micro-niche where you can make dozens of posts/videos without running out of ideas. - Not just “travel,” but “eco-friendly travel gear for long-term explorers” - Not just “fitness,” but “at-home workout tools for busy professionals” 5️⃣ Rule of Thumb 🚫 Don’t build a niche around products that barely pay or sell once. ✅ Do build around products with high margins and repeat purchases so one customer can pay you again and again without extra work. Bottom line: The niche is just the wrapper — the income comes from the products.

This pairs with my thought of going in a direction that you're unfamiliar with.
