Days out - how to make a packed lunch easier
Sometimes time can get the better of you and taking a packed lunch that suits the whole family can feel overwhelming. Any tips for preparation are welcomed…?!?! We’ve found that having a divided lunch box makes things more fun for our little boy, he can see fruit, sandwiches and his beloved crisps 🤷‍♂️ Making sure they eat well when you’re out and about can be a challenge but it’s also super important. Take a small step next time you go out and maybe invest in a lunchbox for the kid(s) with dividers! How do you tackle days out??

Tips and tricks?
I have 2 boys on the spectrum, they both are very picky eaters. They only eat 2-3 foods every single day and the list continues to get shorter and shorter. If I change the taste(by accident) if the packaging changes. They will no longer touch it. More importantly they are not getting important nutrients.

Weekend dinner idea
For something healthy that the boy might eat as well, I’m trying hummus coated chicken with sweet potato mash and winter squash. We’re still cooking so I’ll let you know how it goes but I’d love to hear what you’re cooking your little ones this weekend??

Mealtime Magic: Kids Copy Kids
Lunch today was a reminder of how much kids copy each other! My friend’s little girl happily put on her bib after seeing my son wearing one.🥄💛 Anyone else notice how easily children are influenced during mealtimes?

We tried doing as many mealtimes as possible with friends that had kids of a similar age. It’s interesting how good food habits seem to win when they see each other rather than the bad ones!
