How Do You Know If An Opportunity Is Actually Right For You?
Quick question for the group: When a new opportunity shows up, how do you decide whether it's actually right for you? Most people default to: "That looks interesting." And that's exactly what keeps them stuck in reaction mode. One pattern I've noticed over and over is that people don't struggle because they lack opportunities. They struggle because they don't have a clear framework for evaluating them. So they end up taking jobs, pursuing paths, or making career moves that look right on paper, but feel wrong a few weeks later. I just published a new video that breaks down the 4-step framework I use to help clients gain career clarity and make decisions with more confidence. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/cobSchmnhdw?si=KrjRsFjELt0hk4Pn I'm curious: What's harder for you right now: 1. Getting clear on what you actually want? or 2. Trusting that clarity enough to act on it?

Hi crew. I guess I'm the newest member on this thread (joined yesterday, live in the Dallas, TX area). I am in healthcare sales, most recently working for a pharmacy wholesaler. My past experience is in long term care pharmacy sales and pharmaceutical sales many many years ago :) I just happened to find a post by Kris on LinkedIn and it just resonated with where I am at. Laid off in Jan '26 and just grinding through the job search. I have had several interviews, made it to the final round only to get a 'thanks but we selected someone else'. I hope to learn better more strategic interviewing techniques to turn this around and to land an offer! Thank you Kris for having this community and platform.

I viewed the 'Start Here' video and plan to view the 'Interview Toolkit' today. I have a short timeline before a final interview, on Tue, 6/9. I hope to schedule some time for us to chat before then. Thanks for the support!
