Would you... be interested in doing an online meetup/livestream?
Hey everyone! Would you guys be interested in doing a virtual meetup? It would be like a livestream, but private, just for the members of the skool!

30 Members! 🎉🎉
Hey everyone! Just wanted to celebrate this small milestone with you all! Very excited to what's to come... but don't wait for it! Engage with other members and use this platform to ask anything you want! When I started, I wish I had direct access to people who work in the industry like you have here! Not only me, but also others that are already members of the Cybersecurity Skool! My advice is, make the most out of it!

What software ? Password Manager Or Note?
Where to safe our 450618 credentials and make sure we do have them secure! In our days is a lot of websites and credentials that can't be just easy memorised them all so where to store it? Debate in 321 Go!!!

I’m gonna throw a bit of fire into this but FIDO2 solves the problem with passwords 😂 jokes aside, for the common folks password managers would be great if adopted. You can also have your local instance of password managers like BitWarden or KeepassXC, so you don’t have to trust “other people’s computer” with your passwords.
What Antivirus in 2025?
As everyone know antivirus must be fundamental for anyone daily bases , is always that extra lawyer of security etc. Not everyone goes on dodgy websites but I believe that in our days is no longer about visiting dodge websites is about privacy and security ! Most of the us may niglet that but not everyone I believe ! so in your opinion what you be your choose and why? PS: Please do not ask IA , would be nice having some brain here

If you are talking about for personal use only, defender is ok for most people, since most free AVs don’t outperform it. For enterprise, definitely an EDR like CrowdStrike. However, there are attack paths that EDR alone can’t deal with.
Breaking into Remote AppSec/Pentesting From Nepal– Looking for Guidance!
Hey, I’m from Nepal and have a background in application and network security. I’ve worked with F5 WAF, focusing on web application protection and threat mitigation. I also interned as a Network Security Engineer, where I gained experience in vulnerability analysis and implementing security solutions. To further build my skills, I’ve been learning through TCM TryHackMe, Hack The Box, and Proving Grounds, focusing on network services exploitation, privilege escalation, exploit development, and Active Directory attacks. I’m now looking for a remote entry-level role in AppSec or pentesting. I know breaking into this field can be tough, so I’d really appreciate any advice on where to apply or how to improve my chances. If you have any guidance or resources to share, I’d love to learn from you. Thanks!

@David Alves I think I couldn’t have said better. @Aakash Gurung start by focusing on what you are passionate about first which, if I understood correctly, is AppSec. Then you can diversify by tackling other subjects. As for resources, David mentioned the better ones, but I’ll had PentesterLabs since they have Code Review challenges AFAIK which are vital for AppSec.

@Aakash Gurung yeah, in Portugal most of the job positions require you to have a work permit and residency. However, international companies may be more flexible, I don’t know.
