The dogs are out of the house right now so I can get things ready for family coming to celebrate Thanksgiving. One is at the groomers and the other one is with my husband who took her out to the beach. What are you doing? Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? And if you do, do you make something special for your dogs?

I'm am trying to get our dog, Mickey to heel. I put a treat pouch with his meal in it on my left hip. I say "heel" and hold a piece of food right where I want his head to be and give it to him. Didn't take him long to figure out where he needs to be to get fed. I mix it up between frequent treats and little longer time to the next treat. He is very good add staying at my side while I make turns. The goal is to him to heel without treats.
