The Ad That Doesn’t Try to Convince You (At All)
Most ads try to make things sound better than they are. This one doesn’t. If anything… it leans the other way. I keep a copy of this on my desk… MEN WANTED. For hazardous journey. Small wages. Bitter cold. Long months of complete darkness. Constant danger. Safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition in case of success. Every time I read it… I pause. Because on paper, it doesn’t make sense. No hype. No promises or claims. If anything… it leans the other way. And yet… People lined up for this. So I’m curious… What do you think people saw? What made someone read that… and still say: “Yeah… I’m interested” Need a clue? 📖 The answer’s on. Page 48. Go take a look… Then come back and tell me what you see 👇

It's creating an arena for gladiators only... those who aren't worthy, step aside (you know who you are) Context is King, and that ad is wearing the crown.
Need Your Opinion
Working on something with @Travis Sago for the community, I need your opinion and it sparks some thoughts or feelings then even better! Do you think 'Lurker' (In relation to somebody in a community who does not participate) is a bad word? Is it a negative phrase or is it neutral?

"Scout" is an apt description for someone who carries out recon' on an area and gathers information (on the QT) for future use. An intelligence opo' 😉 Mucho better than the derogatory "Lurkeo" expresssion.
"Can you hop on a quick call?"
Hey Chooser. If you deal with clients you’ve heard this too many times. "Can you hop on a quick call?" It's never quick. And it always happens during dinner. Right before bed. Saturday morning. At your kid's game.. Because when you have clients you're always on call. They're paying you, so you answer. Even when you're exhausted. Even when it's your day off. Even when you're with your family. The more clients you get, the worse it gets. I talked to a friend last week who has 6 different clients. Making good money… but also getting Slack messages at 10pm. "Quick question" texts on Sunday. Scope creep on every project. Great money… But less freedom than ever. That's the trap nobody talks about. He didn't build the lifestyle business we’re all after. He just added more bosses. Is the price worth it? Spending nights answering "quick questions". Weekends catching up on scope creep. Not being present with family. We see it all the time. People grinding harder and harder. Making more money. But having less freedom than when they started. There's a different way. And it doesn't require you to work harder or get more clients.

If someone said to me… “Dave, there’s a couple milly sat in an account with your name on it…” …all YOU gotta do is hop on a Zoomy, answer three questions, and it’s all YOURS? I wouldn’t just "MAYBE" consider it… I’d be shaved, showered, and halfway into my ‘interview voice’ before they finished the 'kin sentence. Hell... I’d even pretend to care about question two 😉 (That's the kind of offer that sets MY arse on FIIIIRE!)
Hello all
. I am intrigued about Travis's system after reading his book. I would love to have mrr free up my time to do what i choose. I've tried the networking, social media stuff, but its not a fit for me. I'm not antisocial lol. Just find most sales groups to be a bit too superficial for me. Glad to have a new angle on helping, having fun and eventually doing what i want while making$.

@Mike Charles No apology needed, Mike. Your answer already says a lot. That rush you described? That’s the real signal under the noise, it's not about being the hero, it’s about sparking something in someone else that multiplies. The moment where your instinct meets their win, and something new gets born from the exchange? That’s rare air. High-frequency, just like you said. And I gotta say... I can feel the difference between chasing dopamine vs. riding the ripple of REAL contribution. One fades fast… the other BUILDS. Again... appreciate what you shared, and mad respect for the food bank work too. That tells me even more about where your compass points. 😁👏

@Mike Charles Hey Mike, Haha man, you get it. 👍 I’m seriously allergic to that whole "relate-relate-buy my shit" routine... It’s like a bad karaoke song on speed dial. "No Rush" ain't NO gimmick for me... it’s how I operate nowadays. Staying present, focusing on the next real step, not tripping over trying to force some "imagined" outcome... (hat tip to Travis and Craig Mannings for this heads up) That's where all the good stuff starts stacking up naturally. As you're aware, the best conversations — and the best ideas — come from letting things breathe a little. Way better than trying to microwave a connection, right? And yeah, when a few high-frequency minds link up without the pressure, it’s wild how fast the fire comes back. 🔥 Feels like you already cracked open a vintage bottle just by showing up with the right energy (whether we drink it or not, haha). Looking forward to mixin' some mojo. But, we’ll let it roll at the pace it’s meant to. Catch you soon 😁
Collected copy of Travis ?
Has anyone collected and gathered the best examples of successful copy of posts/emails etc done by @Travis Sago ?? Thinking it would be useful to use as a knowledge base for an AI tool. Or is that already what's included in the mini monopoly tool by @Jim Niswonger ??

@Basel Hakim Swipe files? Total treasure troves. Especially when you’ve got legends like Travis or Jim to pull from. But here’s what I’ve found... ...sometimes the best copy isn’t the flashiest line... It’s the right message at the RIGHT moment. I'm sure @Jim Niswongerwould concur... Timing and context can turn a whisper into a mic drop. Without that, even the most explosive swipe can miss the mark. That’s why I’m intrigued by your angle. Training an AI tool around their styles could be super powerful… if it also knows when to speak, not just what to say. Are you building something? Or just mapping out ideas? Either way... I’d love to hear more about how you’re thinking of using it. 😁

Totally get that, and you're on the right track @Basel Hakim Modeling successful copy isn't just about using the RIGHT words… (Mr T does mention this in his trainings) It's about knowin' who it's for (audience), when they’re hearing it (timing), what’s going on in THEIR world (context), and what’s truly being offered (not just the pradakt, but the deeper shift THEY want). Travis's copy works because it feels like it was written in the reader’s own head. That’s not magic—it’s alignment. And AI 💯% CAN help, but it needs to be trained on more than words. It needs to “THINK” in terms of resonance. But you’re definitely doing the smart thing by pausing to investigate what’s behind the success before building around it. That’s how you avoid making a fast tool that says all the right things… to all the wrong people. Hope this helps, Basel
