David Delahoussaye here. Painting has become one of my favorite hobbies, and I’m very much a hands‑on DIYer. Most of my projects start right here on my property — painting my house, the barn, and whatever else needs a fresh coat. Now I’m stepping into something more meaningful: restoring my father’s Kubota and Craftsman tractors. After that, I’m planning to take what I learn and apply it to restoring the paint on my truck. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so I’m always chasing that professional, clean finish. For my first HVLP and HTE guns, I picked up the Black Widow from Harbor Freight, and now I’m here because I want to learn how the pros really do it — the techniques, the discipline, the eye for detail. I’ve seen a lot of paint jobs I’ll never forget. I used to subscribe to Lowrider magazine, and the artwork on some of those builds was unreal. And honestly, Aaron — some of the paint work you’ve shown on your YouTube channel is right up there with the best I’ve ever seen.
