Thank you for the incredible early growth of Basecamp
I talked through how Basecamp came together with Thaddeus Campbell on Storage Unlocked

Small Bay Basecamp Networking Call
You've been asking for it, so here it is. The last Monday of every month we're setting aside an hour just to connect, no presentation, no slides, just networking. You'll be placed in breakout rooms of 3-4 people, and we'll rotate rooms every 15 minutes so you get real conversations with a handful of different members throughout the hour. One ask: if you're joining, commit to the full hour. Rooms only work if everyone sticks around, jumping in and out mid-rotation leaves people short a conversation partner. First one is August 31st. Come ready to talk shop, trade war stories, and actually meet the people you've been seeing in the chat every week. If you are going to Flex Connect next month, it would be great to join the first call to meet some of the people also going to the conference. I look forward to seeing everyone there. wS

Time? 11:00-12:00est?
Site plan layout
Thoughts on this layout? We don't have room for large semi access, but made it so we can accommodate box trucks and trailers. My plan is to condo this and sell off units. Open to any and all thoughts!

@Charlie Massey Six buildings seems to be too many and too expensive. Do you have the ability to build longer buildings using firewalls and not lose the unit count? If so, it's likely to be less expensive.

My impression is, subject to local ordinances, that larger buildings can have fire-rated walls vs. having to sprinkler. Anyone?
Starlink
We have a client who uses Starlink for project internet and security. Tenants can use it and HD security camera footage is stored in the cloud. Anyone else?
Solar?
Hi everyone! I wanted to see if anyone has implemented solar on their properties. For those who have: how has it turned out? For those who haven't, what kept you away?

Without knowing much about solar, it doesn't seem practical. Not certain about the weight of the panels, and also have to believe that there could be ongoing maintenance concerns.

Yes, self-storage facilities do it routinely, as do large industrial buildings. It not only can lower energy expenses, it can also provide additional revenue.
