@Thaddaeus Hubbard it's great for a proof of concept / minimum viable product (PoC/MVP) but I'm told will run into scaling issues. TBF this has always been the case with _any_ "prototype" code. Apps have different constraints and considerations when they're small, medium, large or very large, and moving between those stages of is where a lot of the difficult work is, and there will be slowdowns. A system (database, router, menu, page layout, etc, etc) that works well for a small or medium app may not be suitable for a medium or large app. A good friend of mine is a product manager and has been building his own legal/insuretech app in the last 6 months and apparently it's been going amazing. But as soon as he showed it to his development team they all palmed their foreheads and told him it would take months to refactor into some maintainable shape going forwards. Additionally, apps are not "just code"; this is why we have designers, product managers, UX specialists, system admins, etc. So quick answer, no. But to be fair, if you've got that many customers that you're outgrowing the platform, it's a good place to be!

Hello, Professional web application developer from the London, UK here. I've joined the group as I've been plotting building an accounting app for a good few years now, and with the rise of AI coding think now might be the time to build some momentum there. Obviously being a developer and not an accountant, code is my happy place, and finances less so, so I'm looking at this group as perhaps a nice way to find some synergy and cross-pollinate with other interested and engaged folks.
